Honestly though, is this not the best move? League is dying slowly, a lot of the games were semi-successful but not long term. Movies and TV could be the next step into Riot sticking around long term.

3. Tales of the Brewmaster: Gragas's journey. With poros. Please. I need poro. Come on man, i need him to finally get solid lore.
Live action movies that would work:
1. Shurima: Call of the void.
2. Fiddlesticks: Fear the dark....
3. Yorick or Shaco because Yorick was snuffed in the Ruined King event and Shaco's lore doesnt exist.
4. Jhin: The Movie
thats good line up, except jhin movie, i would say it would be better in anime:
1. Story of conflict between Jhin and Shen and Zed
2. Xayah and Rakan´s rebellion story
3.Story of Yasuo, Yone, Riven
4. Noxus invasion
Best is that you can connect points between several stories

Riot could maybe do something like "Game of thrones" around Demacia, Noxus and Freiljord...
I think it would be great but not live action I think arcane will get there they already get the noxus story even deeper in noxus next season, it just weird suddenly it's live action,

Malphite would be voice only like Groot. Also, way too big to make a meaningful impact to the movie. I wouldn't mind the Rock voice from Galio helping lux figure out herself though. Gragas could be K. Trevor Wilson.

I'm also not to keen on a live action adaptation but I think we should hold our tongue especially considering Arcanes success.
I got a couple of ideas for a live action movie/series:
1. The origin & rise of Sarah Fortune against Gangplank to rule Bilgewater
2. The rise & fall of Shurima
3. The eventual split of Kayle & Morgana
4. The birth of Atreus as Pantheon & his rivalry with Aatrox
5. The Mage Civil War in Demacia (Ik it's done in the Mageseeker game, but it'd be cool seeing it in live action
6. The adventures of Ezreal in the style of the Uncharted & Tomb Raider games
With a memorable good cast, writing & direction, Riot could strike gold with these projects if they carefully play their cards right
Ryze could be like a movie about existence and the Philosophie of "Keep going, because if you wont, everything will stand still"

I want to see MF story in Fortiche animated style. Demacia on the other hand would look cool in live action, imo.
I really can't think of any champions that I really want to see in live action but maybe rito will surprise us with something that would really fit the live action medium

It could be interesting for them to make a movie based of older events in the lore. Likw the fall of shurima or the blessed isles becoming the shadow isles. Or they could base it off the comics for lux or zed
Honestly, If they want to do this right they have 3 options. Ruined king, Fall of Icathia or world build out from Demacia with the first movie on the imprisonment of Sylas and the banishment of Magic.
I don't trust them with live action fall of Icathia. Waay to many non-human elements that I bet Riot would default to rushed CGI
honestly i think demacia is the perfect region for live action, most of the characters are humans and there needs to be more effort on characters like galio or shyvana

Just a tiny infomation: Sonic Movie 1 for Sonic Game release in 2020, while first episode of Arcane is release in 2021. So, there is better movie for game release before Arcane.

Riot has so much potential for content, they could have some films of the major events like the runic wars and Ionia invasion, anime for Star Guardian and Anima Squad, and I can definitely see a TV Show that could rival with HOTD about all the family drama in Freljord

After thinking about a good setting and genre for live action…I’d love to see a live action horror film about fiddle, no cgi, fiddle can’t be seen the entire film and only heard, and the protagonist is just a regular civilan or guard, no champions or magic as well…maybe at the end to save the day, or mc gets to run away…OR mc dies…dangit, I hyped myself up for an idea that’s not even gonna happen 🤦♂️

Arcane definitely deserves credit for setting a damned good example of what video game related shows can be, but lets not forget the work that the Castlevania Netflix series did. It debuted four years earlier, and was already into its 4th and final season when Arcane released. I also really liked Mortal Kombat Legacy: Scorpion's Revenge, and it was out a year earlier than Arcane. They didn't reach the heights that Arcane did, but they more than did their part for the medium.

What would make most sense to me for a live action movie is to take something already popular in real life and mix it with an already popular character...
Samurais? Yasuo? Ionian Invasion? That sounds like a good Live Action movie.
Ionia vs Noxus could be insane but, there would be magic everywhere, it would come with tons of CGI.
Same goes for the fall of Icathia and Shurima tho.
The story that could become my most favorite movie (if done well) is the rise of Swain and the disapearance of the General Du Couteau !
I've always said I would LOVE to see a trilogy set in Bilgewater. That would be a fantastic live-action contender. I would also love to see the Ruined King story, and Shurima's history. So much potential. And reading the comments here, there's so much more that could be done! I'm all for a League of Legends Cinematic Universe
If they are doing live action the best story to do would be Demiacia's rebellion with Sylas. It wouldnt be too demanding for CGI since most of the characters in that civil war are humans and SFX can do the mage stuff
I could see them do the ruination book in live action. Also the Lux/Garen/Silas storyline.
Also, an anime around yone yasuo would be epic. I could see it being as acclaimed as sword of the stranger.

I may not like the game league, but damn I think Riot is a good example of what a company should strive for. Taking something and chasing its potential to reach multiple mediums. Riot and Epic both have my upmost respect.
Since they try to keep everything in one canon universe, i really hope they make a movie about one of the mysterious 5 (Amumu, Corki, Shaco, Sho'gath or Kog'maw)
I think they could fit Sho'gath and Kog'maws stories together. If that were the case, the movie would either take place after humans build the targonian empire *or* at the war between Shurima and Icathia.
On the other hand these stories probably have more CGI than live action, so Demacia or Nexus would be more likely, so Shaco would be really cool!

In order to make their first live-action film work, they need to stay in a more grounded setting and keep the story small. Do something centered around a gladiator arena in Noxus. Reduce the amount of VFX, do as much real stuff as possible. If they make half the movie in post, they might as well do another animation.

I wanna see Ionia Calls: The Ionian-Noxian War or smt. I don’t think its plot is long enough to be a series which is why a movie would be good. Since the war involves so many champions I think its a strategic way to include many champions within one film

Honestly, given their track record, I hope one day they fully shift into a media production company because they have a real eye for quality production. Whether its just them involved or them and third parties, I think Riot has something great here with Arcane and other things. Their games are great but their cinema is next level

Necrit, buddy, my man, The Sonic movie came out in 2020. Arcane came out in 2021. If anything its after the success of the sonic movie that producers realized it could make a good movie based on a video game.

I mean if you wanna talk about breaking the live action curse for the adaptation of an heavily fantasy inspired world with insane elements - the One Piece live action kinda already did it! Sure that wasn´t based on a game but i think the concept here is kinda close, condisering the League universe also isn´t in need of creating a new interesting story, as their lore is insanely diverse and offers so much potential already.

I feel like the Mage Rebellion in Demacia lends itself really well to a live action movie. Between that, Gangplank’s story at Bilgewater, and maybe Pantheon’s Ascension, there are a lot of good options

Honestly, usually I absolutely cringe when I see something animated, be it game/series/anime/film or sth else that goes into live action. BUT, considering Riot so far has nailed pretty much everything they did aside from League, having success with all of it, putting a lot of thought into it, I am ready to give it a chance and let them prove us (once again) wrong about our prejudice and presuming. I remain careful, but I will give it a chance, because it's Riot.
