This helped so much!!!! Just got one of these today and never used one so I searched for a video to help me visually learn and this is perfect!!!! Thank you ❤
Thank you Sonia! I'm watching this and I'm thinking OMG, she is a tad OCD JUST LIKE ME! I watched another Clover tutorial and to be honest, you explained it perfect. So, if there are any ADHD INFJ's in the house, this is the Clover Pom-Pom Tutorial made especially for our people!!! Thank you!
I feel warm and calm watching this and hearing your voice. You can add some relaxing music and it'll be perfect. And thanks you for the tutorial. I didn't search for this, it's in my recommendation. No mistakes Just happy accidents.
Your awesome! Full of energy. Like the energizer bunny! Seriously, that’s a great quality. Especially being a mom. 🙂 Enjoyed your tutorial. I own the same kind of scissors. 🤣🤣
Thanks for your great videos Sonia! Really enjoying exploring your channel. Just what I have been looking for. Excited to finally get stuck into some projects with Clover tools that have been sitting in my craft room waiting for a rainy day- thanks to your simple explanations and guidance! Thankyou for your time! Love from Australia!! xx K
Hi Sonia,I just joined ur channel. Thank u for showing me how to use my clover correctly. I've had it for a year . Lol. God bless u. Now I will finish my hat,& can stroll ur channel. Thanks AGAIN SWEETIE all the way from San Antonio, Tx.😍
Hi thank you for such a lovely comment and subscribing :) If there is any videos you need and can’t find just say and I can try and help :). I have a Facebook group linked in my about me section which you are welcome to join and share any of your lovely crafts with and just chat with other subscribers and me.
I used a cardboard one until I got this one and I wish I had got it sooner lol. I am glad you have found something to do while in quarantine and I hope you are doing ok. I am in the high-risk category so also can not leave home so have been doing lots of different craft and chat videos. I think my subscribers will be sick of me soon 😂.
I purchased a set of Pom Pom makers on Amazon. They were not the Clover brand. They were very cheaply made and fell apart the first time I used them. Since have purchased the Clover brand and oh may what a difference. Love your tutorial.
I am glad you managed to find a decent pair. The off-brand ones are such hit and miss which ones will be good 😢. I hope I was able to help you learn to use them :).
I have just started doing Pom Poms and this is the best video I have seen. I really like how you explain what you are doing for each part. You show how you make it really well. I will have to practice my ones. Thanks Best wishes David
i have just purchased two of these . they are brilliant. could i suggest if you want to save time??? ( use more strands) double, treble or as many rounds you wish to do and you wind much quicker (once only) crafty flo
Good evening sonia I want to try to make pom poms 4 a hat 4 my sister as shes going threw kemo rite now so she needs a hat cos shes cold when she comes out so thank u 4 ur vlog I typed in pom poms and found ur vlog and as i have dyslexic and need visual to show me how to make them and make i say u r just that person who is helping me and now iv just ordered one from amazon so i hope im ok making them May i ask what size shall i use 4 baby hats also what size 4 adult hats? Thanks 4 brillient vlog Iv liked ur vlog❤❤❤
I am so glad I was able to help. I am a visual learner as well 😁. I tend to use the one in the video for adult hats which I think is a 3 inch one and then a size or two smaller for child and baby hats.
If you pull it really tightly and sew through the strands multiple times it holds pretty well :) Or if you are worried you can add some glue but it would depend on the use to whether that would be useful.
@@SoniaJones "sew through the strands multiple times", what do you mean by that? Do you have a demonstration? I am wanting to make a pom pom mat but am afraid of it falling apart because when I make the pom poms like you and even when I pull it as tightly as possible, I can still easily pull strands out. Any advice would be great, thanks :)
Thank you for the great tutorial! I don’t know it it’s just me, but I had a hard time hearing you talk. I had my sound up loud and my hearing aids up loud, but still couldn’t hear you very well. Your visual demonstration was wonderful though.
I am glad I was able to help. Yes some people have trouble with the sound and others don’t and I am not sure why. This is an old video though so it might be an issue with the video coding.
I am not sure where you are but any local yarn store should have it. Amazon and other online yarn stores also sell it. Just search for Clover pom pom maker :)
Thanks so much! I tried cardboard to save, ha!, $4, then went out and bought the Clover on sale! It's working great and my pom pom wreath will be ready for...next Christmas! Thanks again!
I used to do them with cardboard as well but once I tried these I never went back lol. Good luck on your wreath I plan on making one as well, would love to see yours if you want to share :)
I don't actually measure it I just make sure it's long enough to tie around a few times and the trim it after. Around 20 inches would be plenty I should think
So sorry you had trouble hearing me, this was filmed on my phone so volume is an issue :( I will be doing it again now that I have a camera and will link it from this video so do please keep an eye out for it coming very soon.
Thank you for your comment. It seems it depends on your device how the sound is. Some have have had problems others have not :(. But as I have explained in previous comments I was just learning to film when I made this so have improved in sound quality since. Luckily this is a project that you can learn with just the video if needs be :).
You just saved me meters and meters of yarn! I could have never figured it out without your tutorial!
I am glad to of helped :) Have fun creating pom-poms :).

So clear to follow, I had been using mine incorrectly lol x
They can be a little tricky if you have not seen them used that’s for sure :). I am glad I could help.
Omg thx you helped😊
You are welcome. I am glad I was able to help 😁
Thank you for posting this! This looks like it'll take up a ton of yarn to make one. But it turns out really good.
Your welcome :). Yes it does use quite a lot of yarn that’s for sure but it’s worth it :).

What are the best scissors for cuting te pompoms?
Any small sharp scissors are good. Mine were pretty blunt thanks to my children using them to cut paper 😂
Thanks

Thanks :) I actually do this already but I know some get in a fiddle using multiple strands so kept it as simple as possible for them :).

How many yards for each half?
I am sorry but I don’t measure how much I use. I just keep wrapping until it is as thick as I like.
where exactly did you get that clover pom pom maker from anyway
Amazon but most yarn shops will likely sell it.
thx sonia hobbycraft defiently sell it
How much yarn do you wrap around
I don't measure it. I just wrap around until it is full up. Sorry I can't be more help.
What size pom-pom maker is this by clover
This is the large size.
Thank you for the great tutorial! I don’t know it it’s just me, but I had a hard time hearing you talk. I had my sound up loud and my hearing aids up loud, but still couldn’t hear you very well. Your visual demonstration was wonderful though.

Thank you for sharing with us!
Where can we buy the pompom maker, please?
Thank you again!🙏
I am not sure where you are but any local yarn store should have it. Amazon and other online yarn stores also sell it. Just search for Clover pom pom maker :)
If your in the USA, Michaels has various sizes. Sold in packs of two. Look online for coupons. I used a 50% off and got two makers for like $2
Thanks for the video - most helpful. Can you tell me if that is the extra large or large Clover maker? Thanks!
Hi thank you I am glad it was helpful for you. The one in the video is the large.
Thanks so much! I tried cardboard to save, ha!, $4, then went out and bought the Clover on sale! It's working great and my pom pom wreath will be ready for...next Christmas! Thanks again!

OI ADOREI SUA MÁQUINA, QUER VENDER? OU AONDE COMPRO UM MAQUINA IGUAL A SUA GRANDE ASSIM?
Most crafts stores should sell them.
I'm going to do this, but I'm going to wrap with two strings at once. Half the wrapping time.
Have fun :). I do two or more strands if I am in a hurry. If not I wrap with one as I find it relaxing 😂
Can you make the looser shaggy pom poms on these Clover makers?
I have not done so but I would of thought so yes. Just don’t wind so much yarn on the Pom Pom maker and it will produce a more looser saggy look.
Thank You Sonia, will wait for the bigger Clover maker as have ordered a set which has not arrived yet. Will have a go!
Good luck. Feel free to share your make on my Facebook RUclips group if you like :).
How long is the yarn that you cut for the end part?
I don't actually measure it I just make sure it's long enough to tie around a few times and the trim it after. Around 20 inches would be plenty I should think
I made a pom pom and it came out good
Awesome have fun making more :).
Yes very thank you for your e mail
Can you do this again? Had the volume up to the max, but could not hear you :(
So sorry you had trouble hearing me, this was filmed on my phone so volume is an issue :( I will be doing it again now that I have a camera and will link it from this video so do please keep an eye out for it coming very soon.

I had a hard time hearing you , FYI. The Pom looks good though
Sorry about that I need to do another one with a better level volume but I hope it was helpful anyway.
your viedo is nice but it is hard to understand what you are saying
This is a old video so sound was not great but you don't need to really hear me anyway. The video is easy enough to understand without it.
Your video is good but it is too long
You don’t have to watch the whole thing if you don’t want to you know ;).
