I love making these so much! I use strong waxed cotton cord to tie mine and find I'm able to tie my pom poms much tighter than with the yarn. The waxed cord grips on to the yarn better and also allows for a tighter knot!

Oh this is a dream compared to without the maker. My SIL passed away and we found these in some of her crafting things. I read the instructions a few times, even using a magnifying glass because the writing was very small. I could not figure out where to tie the string. I wish I thought about watching a RUclips video sooner. Your tutorial was A...Mazing!!! What I thought was a piece of junk, turns out to be a time-saving tool. When I made pom-poms without this tool they always were "lifeless" (LOL). Now thanks to your great instructions and easy to follow video, I will be making a lot of pom-poms for my pom-pom rug. I can only imagine the struggles that I would have had without the Clover.
