I'm sitting here tearing up along with you.... My heart just breaks over everything your whole SASS2020 went through. I know you made amazing memories even if you didn't get to do everything or go everywhere you originally planned. I've been grateful to live vicariously through on an adventure that I definitely wouldn't have done myself. But, I have loved seeing your positivity and smiling face as you have taken on this adventure. :) Glad you are home safe!!

Watching their lasts made me sad, as class of 2020 we didn't get to see all of our friends for that distinct "Last time" or have our grad events. So seeing them all cry reminds me what we lost.

Not a mask in sight. My how the world changed. As sad as it was, The Semester at Sea people kept those kids safe and delivered them home instead of being stuck at sea for months.

Of course all of us know, but you didn’t really explain what exactly happened. You never really saId it, you only implied it in the video that the voyage would be ending early.
How and when did they announce to you that the voyage would be cut short?
Did they announce it at global studies? Did they suddenly announce it on the pa?
Were you expected to find your own way and buy your own tickets back home from South Africa or did SAS handle all that for you?
How long did you stay in South Africa after disembarkation?
