When I first started visiting my father for the summer in Charlotte the tallest building was "the gold building on Independence Blvd". Fell in love with all the trees and knew where I was going to live when I grew up , just retired at 58 and built my forever home 25 years ago.
I’m literally a native of North Carolina and I’ve only been to Charlotte once. And a trip to Raleigh for me is once in a blue moon. You’re pretty lucky to got 4 times and not even be from the same state! I wish I was you now to be honest.
@@tarheelpro87 thanks as this reminds me to be thankful and appreciate things, my brother and some friends live in Rock Hill SC so i've visited... just a shame CLT airport is so expensive to travel internationally🇨🇷🇨🇷
@@alejandronavarro6643 Yeah we all take much for granted and forget the importance of us having access to it. It’s always best to try and remember it all whenever you can and take time to be grateful for it all. Have a blessed day man! 👍
I was born, raised and still live about 25 miles southeast of Charlotte. I just turned 50 and it's hard to believe how much this skyline has changed. When I was a kid and we traveled to Charlotte there were really only 2-3 decent sized skyscrapers. Now it's a totally different city. More skyscrapers on the way and a possible Domed NFL stadium in the future.
What a beautiful skyline of Charlotte. This is the best skyscrapers I have seen. This one is better than Nashville's skyscrapers. Nashville is booming, but Charlotte is even booming more. Nashville does not have any skyscrapers over 620 feet. The tallest in the city is the AT&T building. Charlotte's tallest building is the Bank of America,at over 800 feet.
Me, my son, and my friend went to Charlotte for vacation this past July. It is an amazing city, and we plan on going back there next summer for vacation.
