A few questions - • how much wood is on the cabin porch & how long would it last? • how long does it take to dry out the wood to burn? • how much wood do you use a year at the homestead & cabin? •what do the kids do when you’re at the cabin……do they help ? • how far is the cabin from the homestead….now that you have moved….longer distance? There’s probably a cord on the porch and that will last all winter there because we aren’t there all the time. We usually cut the wood the season before to dry out At the old house we burned 3 bush cords at the new house we are expecting to burn 5. The kids go sledding, play outside , play board games, snowmobile , snow shoe etc The cabin is now a little bit further away since moving so it takes about an hour and 20 minutes to get there 31 degrees is hot!

Quite a difference in weather! I would happily take snow over flooding, hopefully everyone stays safe and dry over there 😊 have a good Christmas ! 🎄

How did you make out during the deer season? I found it to be an odd season.I wasn’t successful until near the end of bow season.
We ended up with one one doe , we saw a spike horn and another doe but that’s it!
