What a truly beautiful video! Nothing more enjoyable than spending a nice day with family. Between the flying location, the models you build and fly and the amazing video work of your wife, I don't think you will ever see a better video of any RC flying! Let alone the beautiful vintage gliders, flying in formation at such close proximity to the camera. Amazing! Something about your videos seem to make all the troubles of the world fade away. Please make more. We all need them!
Beautifull. Reminds me why I fell in love with flight over 40 years ago and why that love has never left me from free flight gliders then control line, then rc powered flight , paragliding, paramotoring, full Size flying drones and more. Thank you 😊
Best video this week by far!! So calming and graceful like the young girls,No tattoos and natural hair colour so refreshing these days of insanity, Thanks for sharing 🙂🇬🇧👍
Holy Smokes, John! Gonna be tough for you to top this! There's bits of this that would make Hollywood producers salivate with envy. The shots where these aviatrixes are silhouetted as they launch and re-launch these entrancing floaters - perfection. All of this vid is good, but as I said, there's bits with the gals launching the planes that are truly magical to my discerning eye. Bravo.
Gotta say the same....one of the most beautiful videos I’ve seen. Awesome music. Do you know that feeling you get when you see/hear something like this ...the little lump that forms in your throat....then your eyes get slightly watery?
Wow! Stunning. Flying and Family perfection. Lovely ladies, including the camera woman and Dads flying formations to perfection. What a delightful scene. Many thanks for your ongoing masterpieces, Sir! Stay well!
What a fantastic way to spend the day with the ladies and the mistresses (gliders😁) !! Love the calm music...it complements the gracefulness of such delicate beauties basking in the wind and coastal breeze. Very inspirational! 👍👍
So graceful on these beautiful sky bakcground with these eager nymphs catching and throwing the gliders in the breeze. Very skillful pilots too; thank you.
Hello from April 2022. It's making me smile watching those girls picking them out of the air and then sending them off again. I wish I'd known about this kind of fun when I was a kid.
Thanks loads, John, for the quick answer and for your GREAT vids. I built and flew gliders as well as U-control powered planes as a kid - great sport so many kids miss today. Also grew up flying in our family's airplane - a Stinson Station Wagon and later a Piper Tri-pacer. Too expensive today so I "fly" motorcycles! May God bless your RUclips channel - one of my favorites. Ray, in the mountains of southwest Colorado.
Could watch this all day. Takes me back forty plus years when I did the same. There’s nothing more relaxing than slope soaring on a sunny afternoon. Very envious.
Especially when the woman holds the yellow plane with the sun behind her, dress moving in the breeze. Beautiful nostalgic feeling! A bit like “5 centimeters per second”..
After watching this my favourite at the moment my SU 27 Flanker is having a rest will dig out my 2 mtr MDM Fox not flown for 3 years Thank you John for reminding me how to enjoy and have a relaxed flying session.
Perfect day! At seaside, two graceful planes in a nice breeze and two lovely girls to share the moment with. Love the flying and in this one the piano is so soothing and fitting. Thank you!
Wow! Such a needed escape in today's time! Thank you! Awesome video 👍! You're able to pause time it seems! Keep doing it please! Thank you to your team as well!
I'm keeping this one ! The Winfield bros r made it look, and it was like a graceful love affair !! Utilizing the natural currants to the upmost beautiful ballet !! The girls were loving it to ! ❤❤❤❤🤘🤘👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Having just recently found John’s videos I really have the fire to build one of these now. Even though here in central N.C. There are few places to slope soar.
You used everything so well. Seemingly flying above the clouds. The two planes and the two ladies silhouetted by sky behind them. I felt as if the gliders were filmed at 60 fps because they were so graceful and smooth. The music was perfect. This video is inspiring. Thank you! I also felt as if the two girls were mothers attending to their children as they played in the afternoon sun.
Brings back memories, not these exact gliders, but similar stuff. One I spent the most time flying a bit later was a Craft Air SD-100, about two decade later stuff...still monokote built up, but ASA fuse. Lots and lots of quiet hours just winching up and thermalling the the day away. :-) So serene, like this. I remember flying pulse rudder and even some Orbit (IIRC) reed servo stuff...THAT was pretty old, one channel at a time and no proportional.
How inspirational and tranquil to watch. Watching you fly the gliders you have made has encouraged me to make and fly large gliders. I am new to the hobby and I have been inspired by your video's.
@@SlopeRCGliders Mr. Woodfield, this is my first time seeing one of your videos. It is all so very beautiful. Everything about it. Everything. Thank you. (I don't see how to post a general comment, so I'm putting my remarks in the "reply" section.)
I almost teared up a bit remembering when I spent so much time building those planes.. nothing will ever fly better.. they are magic. I had 2-3 eight foot Aquilas' and flew them into my hand just like that.
Awesome video 👍👍👍 Mood Fresh ho gaya.. Kaas mai bhi waha hota aur waha eas najare ka maja leta. Peaceful place. Music is very ❤Beautiful and very relaxing...
In the woods and in the fields Beautiful birds we can see, But over the sea, The most beautiful we can see, Are the ones of the Woodfield'! Than you very much for those beautiful times you give us!
A wonderful ballet, so graceful, a beautiful video. Congratulations. I wish that we had cliffs like that here in Western Australia, we have to rely on thermalling. Take me home to Cornwall.
Well John, now you've done it. I've told the wife when I die if I can't go to heaven, she's to send me via Post to Perranporth, Cornwall, UK. Based on this video alone - it surely is the next best thing.
Having a go at some formation Gliding with the big Leprechaun and Thermailist Old-Timer models. (My Brother flying the Thermalist).
Great flying, the video gives me a calm happy moment. Thank you.
anwar mohmmed it’s not really possible to buy a model like this, you would have to build one from scratch.
so cool

Stunning!... the world's leaders should all be required to watch a video like this at the start of every day; we would all be better off!
May be th at is why the World Lleaders are coming to Carbis Bay for G7 summit, only a few miles down the coast.
World leaders are sociopaths. They wouldn't understand this video.
Can’t beat sitting down with a cuppa and watching you flying! So relaxing 👍
Thank you!

When these were designed - no RC, just free-flight. Thanks God for RC. Much better.
Wet Friday morning in Covid Britain... time for another 9 mins therapy. Cheers John!

Brings back old memories of catching thermals. Some of my best memories were flying actuator and Galloping Ghost planes in the 60's.
I still have the components of a free-flight model glider built and flown in '59. It never managed to catch a thermal (luckily).
Great vid! That slope is perfect...
Truly mesmerising. Perfectly filmed and flown. The "wing catch" did make me catch my greath, though.
