Looks like I’ve confused some people because I did not state that I already have hard gel on my nails before applying this product! 🙈 I am applying these products on a finish filed hard gel nail, so it does not matter if I apply a gel polish color under the hard gel glitter. You cannot use this potted glitter unless you have a hard gel/builder gel base already on your nails. ❤️
The Buttercream is a hard gel, the Bemi Beauty Box leaf gel & Magpie Gel Polish are both soft gel.

Another popular topcoat for glitter is the Jin. B crazy top gel. I use it and it's really durable and shiny.

I use a builder gel/hard gel ☺️ I’ve got lots of videos showing me doing my nails!
If you use a gel polish (soak off product) as a base colour, wouldn't that be a recipe for the gel polish to crack by putting the glitter gel (hard gel) on top,? Especially if you are putting enough of the. glitter gel on top by floating it on for a more opaque coverage?
I have hard gel on my nails as my base/structure ☺️ I would not put the hard gel glitter over top of gel polish only.
What brush did you use to apply? I'd like to try a different brush.
I tried searching for this brush but couldn’t find it anywhere. It’s honestly just a cheap brush, nothing special!

It’s a hard gel color. ☺️ I’ve had cracking when using a hard gel top coat over soft builder gels. So I’d advise against it.

Soak off Top Coat is using a Acetone to remove?? and Hard Gel is needing a drill bit to remove? Trying to understand and am not quite sure.
Soak off can be removed with acetone, hard gel is file off only. I remove everything with an efile.
Honestly I'd love this but I can't be arsed with gels and I don't think there's a nail salon that does this

How do you handle all the bubbles when you apply the glitter gel after you have stirred it?
When I stir my gel pots, it creates so many bubbles. Even when I'm stirring carefully and slowly. I have tried "folding" it carefully in the pot as well, as someone told me it would be a better way to avoid bubbles, but it doesn't seem to work either 😣
I don’t really experience a lot of bubbles when stirring the glitter gel. Maybe some big ones, but if I let the gel sit for a few minutes after stirring they usually have already risen to the surface and are gone. ☺️

Stunning! Seems like this glitter is discontinued though! 😭 I noticed you were considering putting a gel polish underneath a hard gel. I was taught this is a no-no. What is your experience with that? Do you see any chipping or breaking, or does it make no difference? Thanks!
Because I have a builder gel on my nails as my structure, it doesn’t matter if it’s gel polish or hard gel on top. ☺️ I would not have used this hard gel glitter if it was just over top of a gel polish manicure.
Also I did link the glitter in the description box, some shops still sell older/discontinued glitters ☺️
@NailsByKatieDutra I think she's referring to the purple Magpie gel polish, I think people may be a little confused since it's a gel polish and we all were taught not to use hard gels over gel polishes 🙈🌸
@@chaozinga yes I understood what she meant ☺️ like I said, because my structure is built with a hard gel it doesn’t matter what I use on top, I can use a hard gel color or a gel polish color! 😄 I’m not putting a hard gel over top of a gel polish base.

I believe Wipe out and Edgar Allan Pur Poe are both discontinued. Great tip though. This is how I apply glitter gels too :-)

A soft gel polish (one of your options) should not be used as a base for hard gels, just saying 😉
