As a traditional artist, I think it's so cool that nail art companies are now incorporating regular art tools into the nail world! That's an empty watercolor palette, and I actually have a few on hand! To see that they can be filled with gels is an amazing hack!! OMG why didn't I ever think of that? lol. That company is smart! Well companies don't do it because if they make regular gel polish the product will dry, only a more true type of gel can hold on this type of case.

When I start a new palette of watercolour, I put the info on the side of the pan with a marker. Then you always know what is where. Just a tip
Yeah you just don't want to be pulling pans back out if there's gel nail polish/paint inside to read side of pan. They won't get even close to solid like watercolors. It'd be a messsss. But making a swatch card for the lid is a good idea!
I like the concept of the palette and that the gel comes in Syringes and not a tube so you get all the color out. I would say I would probably keep everything in rainbow order. So in that case I would probably use a label maker and label the outside of the light pots so I know what number is which.

I actually don’t use gel for stamping. ☺️ Gel doesn’t work well because it doesn’t air dry. For stamping I use stamping polish from Clear Jelly Stamper
Love how convient this thing would make it it just hurts the wallet a bit dropping that much at once but ik the amount of product it's worth it

Hi Katie! Thank you for reviewing this! 6 mos later, how are you finding the condition of the gel in the pan? Did it harden at all or stay viscous? I was thinking if I get this, I might use a sheet of Press and Wrap to keep it as air tight as possible. I hope you see this. Thank you!

I would use it for nail art, however I haven’t tried it for full coverage application on a client ☺️

Are these colors suitable for those who are allergic and use Light Elegance products only??
These do contain hema, so it depends on what ingredient you’re allergic too. (However they shouldn’t really ever be touching the actual nail since it’s meant for nail art)
so beautiful snd cool wonder why they didn't make it 50 colors though so they could have added in diff shades of purples
I think they wanted to leave extra spaces to be able to mix and create custom colors ☺️

yeah omg this is dirt cheap lol. i’m gonna email them to ask if there will be any more preorders this year and how to try notifified because i don’t actually know how long this takes to manufacture lol but there pre-order is sold out and i’m glad they’re not overselling people lol. so i can wait patiently for the next one

I wouldn't put anything thinner than a gel paint in it, so no traditional gel polish. Unless you plan on keeping it completely stationary all the time. Otherwise they'll likely spill into eachother and out of the pallete etc.
lol someone skipped from 20 str8 to 31 with the blues. you skipped greens they’re crying inside. green is forever sad now lol
Never would have thought to use one of my watercolor travel pallettes for gel paints... interesting. Not the best idea ive seen. Asking for more issues than when you put honey based watercolors in it. Hahahaha
I’ve had it for a year now and love it, never had any issues! And I made my own also with an empty one from Amazon 💓
@NailsByKatieDutra yeah I'm guessing if you're using gel paint not just reg gel polish and not trying to move it all over the place etc it should be totally fine, and atleast it's light tight that way. But if you put reg thinner gel polish in there and are moving it around a bit, you could have a gel disaster going on. Haha. I've had plenty of messes with my traditional watercolor paints in these that's why I can't imagine putting my gel polishes in it. Hahaa. But paints, thicker gels, absolutely and a great way to prevent pre-curing like having it out on a pallete. Interting paint in the syringes too? Fascinating for sure!
