Great to CCS rapid charging which will be really helpful for longer trips, for example classic car events and meet-ups. Long trips are easily done in electric vehicles, especially in a Tesla, where the charging experience is way more pleasant than buying petrol. The thing that has put me off long trips in classic vehicles in the past is poor reliability. Something that should hopefully be solved by conversion to electric.
Well done Barnaby my old chap. You’ve just gone and done it again. Relentless is your middle name.
Nice motor that ❤

Exactly right! We’re hoping to make these vehicles usable again so you can trust them and take them further afield!
Brilliant! First do a complete concours resoration then immediately do a no expense spared ev conversion. When will the flying-car parts arrive?
When they do we will be the first to install them that’s for sure!
This is very cool! Are there any issues insuring electric conversions? Do you just have to inform your insurer of the change and jobs done?
There are a couple of specialist classic car insurers which take them on without hesitation. It’s roughly the same cost too
another question - does it have hill hold?
Unfortunately nobody seems to be able to get hill hold to work on Model 3 motors. I believe it does work in LDU builds
Will consider an electric conversion of my 2002 Discovery 2 Td5 automatic. What would be the costs for a kit?
Sorry we don't do Discos!
Do your European (British/Continental) rapid chargers have any problems when recharging converted vehicles like this Range Rover?
Nope the software inside our cars is designed to talk to any rapid chargers out there
I have a 2 door classic- what’s the price of the conversion? Thanks
This was £50,000 + vat
Eventually I’ll convert my 4 door to electric. Eventually.
We’ve done a couple 4 doors, they’re certainly a lovely donor
Your client will be suing you when they find out it does nowhere near 150 miles.
Have you range tested it?
I owe a 1978 original 2 door RRC. I love the V-8 to the max. And before i burn 50000 pounds plus vat on fuel i am 110.
