- She's same same but different this one, same EV system as the last Rangey Classic we did, but a fully restored, much older 2 door this time. We seem to say this one a lot, but this again is the best conversion we've ever done, and that comes down to the donor vehicle, as all of our EV systems are actually the same.
She's running the Fellten UBP55E battery pack, a 280hp Tesla Model 3 motor and our bolt in plug in kit!

Great to CCS rapid charging which will be really helpful for longer trips, for example classic car events and meet-ups.
Long trips are easily done in electric vehicles, especially in a Tesla, where the charging experience is way more pleasant than buying petrol.
The thing that has put me off long trips in classic vehicles in the past is poor reliability. Something that should hopefully be solved by conversion to electric.
Exactly right! We’re hoping to make these vehicles usable again so you can trust them and take them further afield!

Brilliant! First do a complete concours resoration then immediately do a no expense spared ev conversion. When will the flying-car parts arrive?

This is very cool! Are there any issues insuring electric conversions? Do you just have to inform your insurer of the change and jobs done?
There are a couple of specialist classic car insurers which take them on without hesitation. It’s roughly the same cost too

another question - does it have hill hold?
Unfortunately nobody seems to be able to get hill hold to work on Model 3 motors. I believe it does work in LDU builds
I owe a 1978 original 2 door RRC. I love the V-8 to the max. And before i burn 50000 pounds plus vat on fuel i am 110.
Do your European (British/Continental) rapid chargers have any problems when recharging converted vehicles like this Range Rover?
Nope the software inside our cars is designed to talk to any rapid chargers out there
