  • After a full cleaning and fluid service we take the Samurai out for a quick shakedown. Speedometer seems to be about 20 percent off with the bigger tires. It appears to have spring lockers front and rear. trying to find the source of a vibration, we discover both rear axle shafts were slightly bent. There was also a noticeable clicking noise from the front end. We have since changed both rear axle shafts, and both Birfield joints on the front, inner shafts and differential have already been upgraded to 26 spline shafts. Vibration is mostly gone, excited to take it out for an offroad weekend.

Samurais are not the smoothest ride or the fastest, but they are definitely fun

Most definitely, I am hoping to replace the 4 blown shocks that will help the ride a little
