Thank you so much for the video. My daughter is a struggling single mom with 3 girls on a very limited income. She has a 2016 Cadillac SRX and it had been running rough and threw several different codes. She was told by a mechanic at a shop that tried to figure out what was going on that she has to take it to the dealership to get the ECM replaced. The dealership said it would be around $2,000.00 to replace it. I'm going to order one from Flagship and install it myself. Hopefully with your video and my help installing it she'll be back on the road with her girls. 😎
Just got myself a 2007 Cadi SRX very recently 120k miles on it very good deal & I also have a similar problem while I'm driving there sometimes is that thump that happens which slows it down for a little bit. It's not too common but now I know what to do once problem starts to be a little more apparent & I choose to get a new ECM. Thanks
The V6 looks much easier to work on, so much room everywhere. People always say: stay away from the V6. But I guess it has some positive points too. I am going to buy a STS from 2007 with a faulty ecm. I hope I can fix this by myself and end up with a nice bargain.
