Good video! I utilized the heck out of projectiles (including the Falcon Eyes) when fighting him in his second form. The electric canisters, carcass fluids and shot puts are extremely effective!
This guide got me through this fight in NG. I found perfect guarding in phase 1 to be easier than dodging because it let me punish better, but the dodging in phase 2 saved my ass. That said, I'm now fighting him in NG+ and damn NP's got handsssss. I get him down to like 1/4 of his health in phase 2 and collapse.
I beat that nameless puppet today at 🆕 game plus...he's damage are insane...I'm using proof of humanity sword max level and puppet strings max and perfect block grindstone..very useful for phase2...I got the rise of p ending...one more to go
This is a great guide man, truly. I have probably tried this boss 20 times and it is BRUTAL. I think I am going to respect tonight and try what you show in the video. The thing thats hard is there are so many variations of attacks it's pretty tough to memorize all the variations. Are tthere are a few rules of thumb you would recommend? Like usually dodge into him or something?
Great guide. Do you have any tips for mastering parry in this game? I've been practicing Nameless Puppet's first phase again and again, but almost always delay my parry or do it too quickly. Using the same weapon, btw.

Thanks, yours is the strategy that worked for me. Dodging through his attacks in the second phase & keeping light were what nailed it in the end.
