I love seeing the binary nature of Dan’s decision making. Coming in too fast? Shut the engines off? Now stalling? 100% throttle. There is no 50%, only 0% and 100%.

When I was young I played a bunch of this Top Gun flight sim. I used to put afterburners on for 'go,' and turn off the engines for 'less go.' :D

I always ask myself that question whenever I’m “repeatedly jerking”.
Honestly if his flaps were deployed correctly he'd be too shallow of a glide path even when setting down. Short final to flair the plane is honestly frighteningly far pitched down, at least with small aircraft.

Hey dan, ya know how in a car when you drive too quickly then turn it doesnt turn very well, and you tend to crash into someones living room? Thats exactly the same with overspeed.. Only you dont crash into a living room you level a city block

Will English I stopped watching around his reboots. When he stopped “hallo procrastinators” and changed his content and almost every other aspect of the channel. I agree with toxic potato a little, he has been pretty dull, but he’s doing what he enjoys which is what matters. But it’s nowhere near as godlike as the jet pc days. I think it’s because he’s grown up a lot since, got married and such, he’s not the same person since then. I don’t think he enjoys RUclips nearly as much as he did. Oh well, we can still be happy we were with him when he was in the golden age of nerdcubed. At least he’s bringing some stuff back. Although he’s doing it because patrons asked him to, because of money :p

They probably don't track trains like they do planes, but I might be wrong.
@@Hendlton they map and scenery is streamed in, allowing for the entire world to be in the game without downloading it. Train sim world cant have any routes over 40 miles
@@JoeSmoe1 They could just get the data for the area you're in, but again, I don't know if it's available. You can easily look up a map of nearly every flight going on right now.

Imagine being in a private jet, and the pilot cruises you in for a landing really smooth, but your plane explodes because he forgot to deploy the landing gear.

Blinky lights which, either point to the runway, or make up the world's largest Christmas decoration
37:50 airports tend to have a line of lights before the runway to help pilots line up before landing, that way if they pass over them at an angle they know they shouldn't land on that pass.
You literally flew into runway lights.. At least your good and dead so they won't arrest you for unlicensed flying.

All microsoft needs to do is just add some terrain destruction and we've got grand theft plane online

Toronto is one of the cities with photogrammetry, which is supposedly accurate to 3cm a pixel resolution. Which is... ridiculous. Obviously it only captures a point in time, so you might get some outdated ads on billboards or whatever lol, but yea it's awesome.

For those players complaining about graphical setting on some other videos. Those players run it below a high graphical setting. You need High or better to take advantage of the game graphical improvements. 4K is the goal to look amazing!

My first experience watching a flight sim was Nerd³ playing FSX. I was a kid then and I loved it!! It's soo cool to see him play the lastest one. Life is amazing!!
love this video on Microsoft Cloud Simulator, really love the planes they added, they make a great detail when experiencing MSCS
23:49 Ailerons are use to turn the aircraft. Rudder is just used to counteract yaw and lateral g-force. Ever notice when your on a jet and it banks steeply you don't get flung the the side of the cabin like your turning a corner at speed in a car. It's because the pilot is keeping the turn co-ordinated with the rudder.

The minimum specs are like 8 GB of RAM and GTX 770 (2048 MB) , so it's not that bad, I thought it was gonna be worse looking at the game footage.
