No, she couldn't have. The whole point, the whole reason Dany went to help, was because the entire world would die if she didn't help. The South is not safe from the white walkers. Considering she's already at a political disadvantage, that would be very poor decision making. Imagine if someone took the US presidency, China attacked, and the president just LET China conquer a huge chunk of the US and said "eh, you didn't vote for me, so you're not important enough to save". Imagine how angry people would be. That's what you're seriously suggesting Dany could've done. No, no she couldn't have. Not unless she wanted to be the next Targaryen on the pointy end of someone's rebellion. She wants to be a ruler. When you are a ruler, your JOB is to keep the people alive and safe. Fulfilling her basic obligations in the role she chose is not doing anyone a favour, and it's gross that people treat it that way. It's literally the bare minimum expected of her.
@@LordofFullmetal Dany literally came to Westeros with a ver clair purpose, to get the Iron Throne. And she put it aside to help Jon, she could choose to stay in the south in his war against Cersei, as Cersei herself did, but no, she believed Jon, she put her duty before her desire to obtain the throne, she went north knowing she would lose a lot and put her at a disadvantage against Cersei, and some people still call her selfish.

Everything is being taken away from Dany. Seemingly Tyrion and VARYS are plotting. Sansa, Arya and the north are against her. My prediction is she's done playing. She's bringing fire and blood and taking lady O's advice and she's gonna be a dragon.
She knows what Missandeis last words meant. She was in that meeting with Jon and Dany and Sansa and Tyrion and everyone. She always stood by Dany's plans. And you bet your ass grey worm is going to avenge Missandei with her. I'm with them in this one.
Nicole Lush yes girl, she has every right to go mad and burn them all now. She has always had a kind heart and wanted to be good, but the world forced her to become what she never wanted. Now all she can do is avenge all of those she lost. It’s so sad to me because she basically has no one left and even the people who should have her back don’t - Varys aka one of her “trusted” advisors, Jon who is not only her lover but her true family, and all of those she has saved *cough* the whole north and the entire world basically *cough*

@@iliboxic7586 What madness? Everything she's done has been logical, except maybe listening to her advisers after they've proven to be idiotic. Jon's free to pass up on the Iron Throne just like Maester Aemon did. The entire issue of people potentially "forcing" him to press his claim is so painfully artificial, but it still makes sense for Dany to want him to keep quiet. That being said I don't like Jon cucking out and betraying Northern Independence in the first place.

Dany feeling uncomfortable and almost envious of Jon at the feast feels unnervingly reminiscent of Viserys getting all jealous of Dany when she was being cheered for after eating the horse heart.
@@BhBc8f8 It's not so much that. I just know D&D have been making a lot of parallels between this season and the first, some subtle, some not so subtle lol
I think that's the point - at least, I hope it was. She was raised in the same environment as Viserys, listening to everyone tell him he was the rightful king and he deserved it and he was awesome - and when he dies, that position naturally falls to her. It makes sense that she would absorb some of the same entitlement that he did.
@@LordofFullmetal right. She also is pretty socially stunted. She didn't grow up in hall listening to how people carry on at feasts, or learning how to deal with playing roles - giving people space and humor. She has some experience since Drogo and at giving speech. Very little at kicking back, having fun or shooting the shit. With people she did free or conquer. In Westeros she is a fish out of water and it shows. I think Sansa having been a fish out of water originally in Kings Landing can see that and recognizes Dany's coping methods as being dangerous.
Daenarys was making that face in the great Hall because she realized she was completely alone. She may have "allies" in Tyrion and Jon, but when given the opportunity, they will be with their friends and family. The one person Dany had was Jorah and he died.

It’s truly annoying that Dany can not have an off moment or a sad moment or an angry moment without people saying she’s going “mad”, especially with Varys mind going straight to that. Which is understandable because of who she is but if that was Sansa, Jon or anybody else, people’s first thing to say isn’t that they are going mad.. they would just say they are going through it because of everyone who they have loved have died.
because she is remarked with madness thing, from her father. So if Dany goes angry at times, people would expect that to be a milestone of her being mad as well which is unfair
I couldn't stop laughing when Tormund was splashing the wine out of his horn during his little speech. One of the few non-depressing moments in the episode.
That Tygarean craze, it runs through her veins. She oughta just split the crown instead of a Monarchy. She knows Jon has legitimacy to the crown. It's that damn Tygarean craze!
@@drew6479 Agreed but don't get in an argument about it at this point. Not even worth talking to most of the "fans" online. And I'm not talking about the original poster so no offense. The dialog and definitely the acting. Emila Clarke for once really acted her ass off. Seems like a nice channel here all of a sudden and I don't come here alot. But I will now. Fucking done with alot of other reactors, if not for the comments alone.
not necessarily they could still use it to hold prisoners thinking they are preparing for a great threat. Bran would send ravens once in a while to say that the dead are now invisible to the human eye 😆
Dany was only partly worried for her throne. The other part was worried that if the truth was out then Jon would be manipulated into a position to go against her and therefore become her enemy. As for giving him the Stark name...Jon would never accept that knowing what he knows because he would consider it a lie.
- I know Dany feels like an outsider but you'd think the people of the North would embrace her a little more since she helped so much to defeat the Night King and was on the field of battle at the same time.. - Gendry's proposal was awkward. He was a big brother to Arya for so long, he never showed any attraction toward her, if there was any it came from her end. - WTF was up with Bronn. He went from being best friends with Tyrion leading up to the meeting about the white walkers at Kings landing to punching him in the face in this scene??? WTF was that all about??
And at the speed the show is going, she Could send word to The second sons to join her, have then sail all the way back and be ready to battle in about 20 minutes of show time lol
OMG this episode has upset me more than ANY other. Not only b/c of Rhaegal but b/c I have been wondering what they last episode would be about. Now I feel I know. The finale will be Jon, Tyrion, Arya, Sansa, and Brienne all conspiring to assassinate Dany, who will be completely batshit crazy (and likely will have lit Varys on fire by then). I really just can't handle what they've done to Dany.
My favorite character is Dany and I knew as soon as they killed Jorah off last episode that she will be alone again, in the regard that the one person who truly loved her and would fight for her wouldn’t be there no more and so when she gets betrayed.. Jorah won’t be there to protect her. But I see they turning her into the “Mad” Queen with this episode with having everyone that she loves die. Which lets me know that Jon is gonna have the throne and they are gonna kill Dany. But then again the show loves to throw twist and turns so maybe they want us to think she’s going mad and actually doesn’t and ends up just giving up the throne in the end willingly to Jon.
The throne is not all Dany has left. The Dothraki love her, the Unsullied love her, the people she freed in Meereen love her, Jon doesn't feel the same anymore but apparently we're never going to get a conversation on that or them being related is interfering. For all she knows the people of King's Landing will love her, they certainly can't love or respect Cersei.
I admired her up until she started to go crazy with the "bend the knee" demands. If you don't bend the knee to her, you don't just get jailed -- you get fried alive. There is something wrong with that, no matter how much we want to root for Dani. A good queen needs to be diplomatic and not just set examples by destroying a families blood-line when they are stubborn. And I don't see it getting better.
@@hamedalshamsi8782 But she is inconsistent. She demands to be queen whether she deserves the honor or not. Some people in this world have been through more than even she yet she feels entitled. She wants to "break the wheel" -- but only as long as she has control over said wheel. Don't get me wrong, I like Dani but she is quickly losing focus. If she starts shouting "Burn them all!" Jon WILL have a problem on his hands.
@@beckyeisenhuth497 How else does one expect to rule the 7 Kingdoms if the lord or ladies of said kingdoms don't bend the knee. "the fried alive" option was not given to Jon but only to her enemies, you know the one's who just tried to kill her like 20 mins ago and would try again if given the chance. Dany isn't just demanding to be queen like some 5yr old she actually secured the support of the noble houses and brought her army loyal only to her to fight for the throne. And she's not about to give up all that hard work and sacrifice just because Jon happened to be born first.
It's not what she names him... she warning what will happen if the wrong people gets ahold of the info. Jon doesnt want thw throne threfore telling his sisters (specifically Sansa) is a terrible idea. And it was--Sansa did as littlefinger would. "Chaos is a ladder." Also, Daenerys was pleading with him and warning Jon what the truth will do to people around him and essentially destroy what they have together. It's not about the throne... people seem to only see Daenerys wanting the throne but the person pleading w Jon was the woman behind that crown. Not the queen...
Hey Nikki & Steven, This is my first time commenting on your videos. I discovered You guys randomly one day while watching a compilation video of reactions to certain character deaths. I've been hooked ever since. Been binge watching your reactions to past seasons. Its been fun and love your channel. Thanks so much sharing your love of this amazing show. Now to last night's episode, I was shocked, disoriented, angry, and so much feels!! We're getting down to the wire and no one is safe. I feel like both Varys and Tyrion will be the one to betray Dany. Dany has lost so much in short span that she's losing herself to wanting the power of the Throne. It's scary. With the next two episodes coming up I hope Jaime is returning back KL to kill Cersei or even Arya will be the one but either way I can't wait to see that bitch fall!
All she ever wanted to do was rule over people through fear and violence, and burn them if they didn't immediately obey her. She's just an innocent young girl who uses her leather winged engines of destruction as a gun to other people's heads so that she can impose her will on them. She is truly the victim here.
This episode made me so sad. When it comes to Jon's thing with Daenerys, I don't think it's about his bastard status. I think Jon spent his childhood hating that he was a bastard but he turned Stannis down when he offered him that same thing. I don't think being Snow/Stark/Targaryen even matters to him. The thing is he is more upset about the fact that he handed over the North with the belief that he was Ned Stark's bastard son. People followed him because they believed he was a Stark bastard. Him actually being Targaryen and handing over the North against Sansa and the rest of his people's wishes puts him at a moral dilemma. He doesn't think it was his choice to make now which is why he said he feels like he owes it to Sansa and Arya to tell them since they are trueborn Starks.
Why is it they can bring people back from the dead, defeat zombie giants, lite swords on fire, make weapons from dragon glass. BUT NOBODY is skilled enough to make armor for a Dragon!?!
I mean that's a lot of work for that time period. The Blacksmith would also have to touch Drogon which is iffy for non Targeryans. The show may have different rules tho
@payday heist I can respect the visuals and the work that goes into making the show, however, these do not make a good show alone. The writing is ridiculously bad and I'm afraid to say it isn't getting any better. The leaks are dreadful and this show is definitely not going out on a high. I take no joy in saying that.
I've been there and passed that since season 5. It's the D&D show completely now and they are working with fan fiction pretty much. I know Martin said it's going to spoil the books but he hasn't written for this show since season 5 and it's only the very big points that are true to the books.
@@rastiga9196 but martin told D&D how he wanted to end books and he also said in an interview that ending in books will not be very different then ending on tv show.

Now I just enjoy the fuckery.
Dany should have taken lady olenna's advice to "be a dragon" and should have taken out cersei. All the power she gained is because of her independant actions and now she is losing it all after she started listening to her advisors.
She should have remained with faith in herself, like she had when she reprimanded Ser Jorah (RIP) and Ser Barristan Selmy (RIP) for advising her against her dragon exchange agreement that gained her the city, Missandei (RIP) and the Unsullied.
Jon is now as Stark as Sansa is or Arya or Bran. They're all half-Tully and half-Starks. He's half Targaryen and half-Stark. He and Arya are more of Starks than any other Stark children.
Yeah but you take the father's name. Sure if you break their blood down. But that's not really how it works. As far as in name goes, he'll never be as much a stark. Although after what he's done for the North, I think it's irrelevant to how the North feels. As far as law. Yes it matters
EL34 XF2 LiFe you have a point. BUT Jon is THE King. The same law which makes Arya or Bran a Stark or Jaime a Lannister, allows a monarch to choose the name of his house. Joffrey used the name "Baratheon and Lannister", The modern British Royal family dropped the paternal name of Sax-Coburg-Gotha and chose the maternal one. It's just a matter of perspective. The thing is, Jon is more Stark than he's a Targaryen. physically as well as psychologically and even philosophically.
I'm here for Nikki! I was *supposed* to avoid RUclips tonight to get other stuff done, but since I'm a lifelong cat lover (and all animal lover) and have a former feral sleeping in my bad right now and others I feed outside--plus raccoons, possums, and even skunks), I wanted to come here to help Nikki through her tears. I haven't watched this video yet, but assume the loss of Rhaegal, and Jon's total ghosting of Ghost, happens in this Part I. I just wanna say I'm there with you for every loss of horse, dragon, and direwolf, and I'm SO glad people sent you a gazillion tissues!
I like how Sansa and Arya whine about not trusting Dany but then Jon asks them to swear to not tell anyone about his parentage and Sansa just goes and tells others… not very trustworthy.
Well, coming back after the season finale...Bran was f*ucking playing battleship. At least bron got his land and lofty titles. Margery ashes are twitching at the thought of him being lord of highgarden.

I don't think it's that he's bothered by everyone thinking he's a Snow, they named him King in the North I don't think that's an issue for him anymore. He's more than earned his place and they all know it. It's that he wants his family to know the truth. But Dany didn't trust Sansa to keep it a secret because Sansa doesn't trust Dany not to fuck over her family and the North. I mean, she was right so it wasn't for nothing.

Especially for Missandei. She's done playing. Dracarys.

Feel bad for Dany. She's lost everything and is desperate to feel loved, the throne is all she has left and it's gonna destroy her.
Danny went through so much to get here and sacrificed everything I don't get why people don't understand why she's acting like this.

Hey Nikki & Steven,
This is my first time commenting on your videos.
Feel bad for dany, shes tryin her best and it seems like everythings being taken away from her :((
Yeah, because Jon does NOT want the throne. I could see him just saying, "Here, sit here."
All she ever wanted to do was rule over people through fear and violence, and burn them if they didn't immediately obey her. She's just an innocent young girl who uses her leather winged engines of destruction as a gun to other people's heads so that she can impose her will on them. She is truly the victim here.
Pause at 11:06 of this video - there is a starbucks coffee cup in front of Dany 😂😂😂😂😂

Jon is THE King. The same law which makes Arya or Bran a Stark or Jaime a Lannister, allows a monarch to choose the name of his house. Jealousy turned to cruelty, cruelty turned to paranoia, paranoia turned to madness. More than anything else, he was the King who lived in his own Hand's shadow.
Nikki: Where's Arya? Oh shit there she is! love that reaction....
Varys really doesn't like imperfect humans does he? LOL.
13:34 -
Nikki: Where the fuck is Arya?
(Arrow flies by)
Nikki: Oh shit, there she is.
LOL
How can you still question her loyalty after all she did and lost for this man lolol what ppl ask and expect from this woman is so unreasonable and unfair, she has feelings and emotions too lol
15:49 this was the beginning of the end for them but Daenerys was right the moment Jonn tells his sisters the truth sansa snitches which begins the storyline of the two Mad Queens
Last 2 episodes are not going to be easy, i feel like after dany lost so much, she will be calling second sons army from mareen for the final battle.
It's been 5 years and Iv not seen anything that comes close to how good this whole series was. Love your reaction vids. All because you don't get spoilers so it looks better. I loved Gendry getting to be lord
they got spoiled on Ned's death, though
Stayed awake till 3am for this reaction🤘💕
What a boss line by Bronn:
"My fightin' days are done, but I got a few killin' days left..."
I'm actually happy Daenerys is going mad so she can Justify Missandei😢
When people get mad they can do wrong things
Nate Horne here here!!! BURN THEM ALL🔥🔥🔥😈😈🐲🐲🐲
Yes! Avenge Missandei!
@@robertt8822 Those people are NOT innocent.
@@natehorne1763 yes they fucking are
I mean the literally innocent ones, women, children and anyone who didn't fight for cersei
I woke up at 5:30 (normally up at 7) because I was too excited to watch your reactions!! So cool to see your channel grow so much in the last year
Arya coulda kept the secret...Jon shouldn't have told Sansa anything
"Why is Verys just creeping in the background?" - Steven it's Verys the spider; creeping in the background is his job description.
"I mean it's true, but unfortunately true, but, true... just..." - Nikki dropping truth bombs as always.
I love Bronn now he is in the Position to talk free and act like he want to . He is taking enough sht from Tyrion and Jaime
His lack of development however is disappointing
@@BhBc8f8 he is just a Cutthroat and yes no development but i guess thats the Point . He shows us how the some great Houses started
I woke up this morning with you guys on my mind lol that’s how you know your my favorite reactors
