Love to hear the 705 mark 2 as looks so much same, just brought it seems great lightweight sub feel another one would even system out! Am looking for power & portable so thinking of getting 8" rcf and another 705 mk 2
Hey bud very good insight of the Evox 12. Thank you! Doing my research and I have been looking for reviews or perhaps the chance to listen to these live but without much success. I see you also do a review for the 745A series which I own presently. In your opinion how does the Evox 12 compare sound wise to the 745A? I know they are different arrays but just want an opinion on sound. Also how does the Evox 12 cope with larger halls please? Thanking you in advance.
DJ Boombastic , lovin' the name! The Evox 12 copes very well in large halls Sound wise, very good question. The 745A seems to offer more attack and more of an exciting sound with more oomph! The Evox more laid back but still full In a large hall I would see the need for subs with the 745A. The Evox 12 obviously has a better LF performance due to its dedicated sub. Generally I am always using column arrays these days when it comes to large gigs, therefore if I had to choose between them in large halls, I would choose a pair of Evox 12's over a pair of 745A's
OPAZ thank you for your quick reply. I do have the subs to go with the 745A but I rarely use them unless I am in a really large venue. I find them very responsive. I need to find somewhere I can hear the Evox but most places only deal with the 8s. I’m mostly looking to get a set for convenience of carrying them. Really love my 745s but if only a matter of not much difference I might stick for a while. Thank you again. Much appreciated. 😊
Thanks for the informative review! Your videos are very helpful in making well informed decisions. Would you recommend 2 of these EVOX 12s or 2 QSC K12.2 tops w/ 2 KW181 bottoms for a high school dance in a gymnasium full of 500+ kids?
I prefer the ES 1203 over the Evox 12. It has better flexibility with the mono stereo setup - better dsp - it is louder and those twin 15" subs deliver much more and better low frequency performance
Hello my friend. This seems like such a great unit. The weight of the sub is a concern for me. I would like to get this system but with 12inch sub. As a singer/songwriter is the dispersion comparable to the Bose L1 Model II. I would like to see more singer/songwriter rather than just DJ.
Oh yes. Things have improved greatly since then. This unit also has no reverb There's plenty available to choose from now that are more suited for singer songwriter/musicians. They are also so much more lightweight and compact offerings with multichannel mixers onboard, phantom power, effects etc at various prices, from many manufacturers to suit many budgets
@@opaz. Thanks for you help but I will be using my Bose T4 which has everything I need. Just want to know your respected opinion on is this unit as good or better than the Bose L1 Model II B2 bass
OPAZ what did you think of the LD Systems Curve 500 TS? I’d live to buy the EVOX 12 or DB ES 1203 but they are 3 times the price here in Australia. The LD seems like great value for almost a 3rd of the price.
and that's how a review should be, thank you :)
The Ld systems 500curve ts is pretty amazing I have to say.
Ramon, have you heard the EVOX12? How do they compare with the 500 CURVE?
I love the bass response on the Ld system 500curve ts and the highs are very present the only thing I wonder will it get ugly when pump loud?

Sounds good to me 👍

I would choose the 12.2 & 181 combination
What is your thought on it?
Do you prefer evox 12 over db es1203? which one goes louder and has more bass?

I thouhgt the db tech bass unit is a dual 12 I believe.
@@centerstageentertainment6792 you are correct - dual 12s

I have never heard the L1 model 2 bass 2 unfortunately
@@opaz. hmmmm the Bose was the standard for many years. I used the system when I was a DJ. Thank you for your help my friend.
Is the” pull along “ handle robust enough for pulling it along ?
Yes Alan. It's not the most robust of handles but it does the job.
It looks like the video is based mostly on how the box looks
10 out of 10 for observation
hey is evox has a feedback supression?
Sorry i can't answer that one. However with no expense , you'll achieve little or no feedback with good speaker placement in relation to the mic.
Have u listen to the Ld system 500curve ts
Yes Ramon, I have on one occasion in a shop
