    same bike Honda XR150L .
I am 55 years Young haha
5' 71/2" and 210 lb I have a similar issue with it I leave the kickstand down to get on .
I now have 5 8 3 .7MI fixing to do my oil change and check valve Gap . I took the rubber off my foot pegs. And I bought the OEM handguards and skid plate don't waste your money with the handguards they're flimsy they look good but flimsy . I've never gotten in a situation where hit the skid plate but it does keep mud and debris from slinging up on the engine which is kind of what I wanted it for.
Tires are more of an on-road ! if you get into off-road better prepare to buy better knobby tires! There's not many options for 19/17 I know that 130/70/17 & 4.60/17 rear tires
275 /19 & 120/90/19 front tires I have found out will fit by my Honda dealer .
I looked into a better set of knobby tires but have not decided on any of the options yet ! I like the look of the shinko 244 ?
I hope you just get out and ride .

I got the same bike only 52miles on it . I bought those exact foot pegs but have not installed them yet, you can remove the spikes i believe. I wanted to ask you about your throttle hand grip . Mine seems a little excessive loose or play as far as wabble back and forth forth diagonally. Just curious if your is same . I’ll try post a quick video of it later

Hello ted, im the same size as you and have been considering getting a xr150l. I would be very interested to see street runs on the bike and to hear how it does with mpg during street rideing. I know honda claims 124mpg but also know this wont even be close to that with riders our size. Hope to see more vids on the xr150l real soon. Thanks

I have one, had it 5 months and have 1800 miles. I have measured mpg 3 times - so far between 90 and 107mpg for me and that is mostly street riding and some highway. I can do 50 comfortably and really only go on the country highways. It will go faster but is best at 45-55. Seemed to get faster once I hit 1100 miles, I guess it was fully broken in. It's just a fun bike to ride, nothing fancy but gets the job done and is just plain fun.
