Such a simple time in game shows; No flashing lights, no drama, just fun and entertaining. And this is perhaps the most iconic set of 1966/67!

I was last in line and waited for 3 hours. We had a little sit down and talk since everyone else had left except for the pastor. She had a gift and said some things pertaining to my life. Donna Douglas and I are from the same home town: Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Her family name was Doris Smith. In the 1950's she was known as Dot Bourgeois (from a brief marriage, name pronounced "Boozh-wah"). In the late 1950's (or very early 1960's) she changed her name legally to Donna Douglas. I don't know the "official" reason, but I'd guess her agent felt "Bourgeois" was too ethnic sounding.
