I've been to Mexico city twice, but never had a chance to visit Chapultepec. After this video, it's going to be my must do when I make it back over there!

Chapultepec is definatelly the most stuning one but technically there are at least 4, the Palacio Nacional which is the seat of the federal government and the ofice of the president (the Viceroys of New Spain used to live there), the Palacio de Iturbide which is the smallest one where the first emperor of México Agustín de Iturbide lived, and the Palacio del Marqués del Apartado that the Spanish Monarchy built in case they ever visited or settled in New Spain.

Zoo's walk that fine line between being awesome or super depressing. But that zoo looks beautiful! There's plenty of room, the animals are not alone, they look healthy and plump. I've been to the zoo in Guadalajara and it's beautiful as well. I'm glad to see they treat their animals well in Mexico.

I love Chapultepec Park, but haven't seen it all.
I've been to the National Anthropological Museum seven times and have yet to see it all. What I've been doing lately is just trying to see one Sala
at a time for about 2 hours.
I get in free with my student ID which does help a little.
Back in 1968 when I first walked in, and saw that waterfall at the entrance I was awe-struck.
Like Adam, it's the best museum I've ever seen too.
Another great one, is the Popular Art Museum on independencia near the Alameda Park & behind the Hilton Hotel.
You given us a lot more to see in Chapultepec Park though.

I love Mexico City, one of my Top5 cities in the world. Since my 1st trip in the 90s, every visit I enjoy it like if it was my first time.

Those DoriLocos looked a little crazy for me but that Zoo looked like a great place! And for Free! The giraffe were so cool and I really liked the Rhino that Adam Rode! 😅😅🤣

I have been to Mexico City many times! It is so HUGE that it is impossible to get through everything in even a two week trip... I agree this Museum is a MUST SEE!!! I was SO exhausted after my last trip where I tried to get into as many museums and churches as possible... Like the old Post office area ... anyways Keep it up! So much to see and So little time.

What a Castle! That is so cool and right in the middle of the park. The view looks breathtaking and I loved that stained glass hallway! The gardens were beautiful and I did recognize it from the Movie!

We LOVE Chapultepec... although we were gutted that the zoo was closed when we tried to visit. What a shame! CDMX is also so great for exploring by bike... amazing that they close the roads!

❤️❤️❤️ I used to live nearby for 13 years, less than 100 yards from the Chapultepec castle and I went to the park for a walk every morning, then I moved to Colonia Roma for a long time, too. The museum of anthropology is my favorite.

Adjacent to Chapultepec is the fancy Polanco neighborhood with some great beautiful walkable streets, parks, great restaurants with outdoor sitting.
Speaking of free museums, don’t miss the beautiful modern Soumaya museum. Might be the most beautiful modern building in CDMX

This is not only the biggest park in Mexico, Chapultepec is bigger than Central Park N.Y., and the mayor of CDMX is working on a project that will double the the land spaces to be the biggest in the world. There’s also another project going on at Texcoco lake to make it a sports park and aquatic events for the city. Greetings from California Mexico.

Next time you're in Mexico City, stay at the Fiesta Americana Hotel-Chapultepec which is at the edge of the Bosque de Chapultepec. Ask for a Castle View and you will get a great room with an amazing view. You'll see the full Bosque, the vegetation, the monuments and most of all the Castle. One of a kind view!.... We're living in Puebla right now, lived in most areas of Mexico (and other countries) after living in CDMX for a couple of years. Since we are so close we make it to CDMX often....
