I'm 4 generations Aussie chick and the NZ Maori Hake will hit me like a freight train EVERY time. I've never looked upon another ritual or tradition like this. I'm not Maori but I cry like an infant every time I see the Haka. It is as if you can see people's spirits coming together and strengthening in unity. I truly feel honored that the Maori are so openly proud and share this with the entire world. We are all so lucky.

As a Saffa I have immense respect for both MABs and ABs. As a kid, my mother and father always called me out of bed early in the mornings so I could see the Haka whenever Springboks played against the ABs in New Zealand. It was always a pleasure to see it.
