I'm just being critical of the people in the comments who are making personal attacks on the fans Nintendo is interviewing. One comment made fun of the weight of someone featured in the video, saying they should play Wii Fit instead. Nintendo has good reason to distance themselves from the community when it gets toxic like this. If anything, I'm defending Nintendo.

At best it’s a neat gimmick, but it’s not like they couldn’t have had Link be the MC if they wanted and just said “uh, yeah, we’re trying something new this time”. Plus, knowing 2D Zelda stories, Zelda being the MC isn’t going to wildly change the story, so it’s debatable whether or not making her the MC is simply a PR stunt.

It is a new 2d traditional zelda. It has regular dungeons like a regular zelda game.
That's for the next console. Every system releases a ton of smaller scale, quirky games at the end of its life since the budget it cheaper than next gen games.

@@emersonssbb there absolutely is something wrong with being able to solve puzzles however you want. That just means that the puzzles have to be designed to cater to the easiest solution possible. Puzzles need rules, otherwise they’re not puzzles.
It’s not about Zelda functioning like Link, it’s about me wanting to play as Link.

The more and more they reveal the more I like it, at the beginning I wasn’t a fan of the combat but it just grew on me but I do dislike the sword fighter form younger me would’ve loved it but tbh it’s kinda making Zelda rely on link still which is problematic for a game where Zelda’s the main character

The comments in youtube videos always tend to be much more critical and logical, so I always get my opinions from the comment section instead. Classic dungeons is my big W for this game.
what i hate the most is that everybody is hyped, and yet in 3 months after the release the game overall score will go down as people bubble burst and they realise the game is much more bland then they think it is. the same hapenned on breath of the wild, eveyone loved it, and now its not even in the top 3 of the best zelda games. but i will say that with these mechanics, if they dont screw it up, dungeons might have good puzzles.
