Loving that there’s a Mario Party game more than five boards

7 boards is more in line with the older games.
The first game in the franchise has 8 and that total still hasn't been matched.

Unironically, I’m really happy that they brought back the motion controlled rhythm mini-game side mode! That was one of my favorite parts of original Super Mario Party LOL

This genuinely looks like the best Mario Party to date.
- Plenty of maps to enjoy
- Amazing mini-games inspired from both Super and old Mario party
- A huge roster of characters including unique mini-games tied to them
- A wide variety of items to cause chaos
- Dice blocks that go up to the standard 10
- Stars that cost 20
I'm so excited for this game.

Even with 20 player game is so fun
Such a simple formula for the series to just keep sticking to honestly.
Not to mention FULL ONLINE for the ENTIRE base game.

This actually might be the peak Mario Party. Includes the classic gameplay from 1-8 & DS, Coinathlon/Koopathlon and Allies from Star Rush, a campaign somewhat similar to Advance, Bosses from 9 & 10, nostalgia revisiting in some form from Top 100 and Superstars, rhythm games and Joy-Con centric games from Super... probably more that i cant think of. Super hype :D

@@minedone1236 On the official japanese website there's a little section that goes over a single player campaign where you have to help Kamek set up the boards before the official Mario Party begins. You go around the map helping NPCs do tasks and there's some minigames in between. You can also earn mini-stars from MP9 & 10. That's the basic understanding from it I have from the vague info

Looks like the "Super" era will put a bigger focus on different modes when compared to the Classic era. I quite like that. The board gameplay is the most important to me but its nice to have variety when i dont feel like doing boards.
Western Land and Rainbow Castle looks amazing remade. I’m so glad they returned. IF this game gets dlc, I hope they bring back that one ice map from Mario Party 6, and the Hotels from 8
My wish is Deep Blooper Sea from 3.

Mii characters were only available to play as in Mario Party 8's Extras Zone. Who is to say Nintendo won't do that again even if they finally do Mario Party DLC?

One thing I liked about Super Mario Party for Switch was that you could recruit characters and they would have unique dice blocks. Jamboree buddies seems to be taking inspiration from that aspect and I love it!

I really hope this game gets some love after the base release. I was disappointed with superstars, on how no additional maps or mini games were added. I would love to see some maps from Mario party 4-6 as an expansion in the future.

I always liked the pinball minigames even if they don't get that "Sports and Puzzles" version.
Super Mario Party, and Mario Party Superstars were okay games, but they might actually convince me this will be the best Mario Party to date. I enjoyed all the Mario Party's from N64-Wii quite a bit, and I'm loving that this looks like an ultimate party. Can't wait to get it.

Oh my, what a variety of boards with interesting gimmicks, especially the Mushroom Galleria with its "half-price flash sales". Even STARS can be steals if you have the coin. Goomba Lagoon's high tide mechanic reminds me of Mario Party 6's day to night gimmick, Roomba's Booty Boardwalk (MP8) and Yoshi's Tropical Island (MP1).
here is a way to make it bigger, drop dlc packs with more boards from older games! it be awesome to have more boards and minigames added over time. it be so nice to see boards and minigames from older mario party games returning via dlc packs
