So sweet. I was born with a cleft lip and palette, and am now 21 and am still awaiting one more surgery hopefully before I finish college next year. It's so good to hear this family share this story.

We have a son Brody who was born with a cleft palate and he just turned 11 last month and has had to undergo a lot of surgeries. All of you children of God are so brave and awesome weather you are 8 months 8 years or 18 you are all so brave and we as parents are so proud of all you have had to go through. As a Mom hearing their story WOW our son choked all the time he never slept we took turns watching him , we took turns sitting in the back with him so he would not choke . My family has really been through it thank God for his older sister Alexxa and his older brother Jordan. Our Brody has worked so hard a long and extremely bumpy road. Kids have even bullied him over his speech. He never ever has complained ,he just tells me it's ok Mom I will pray for them. You guys are tough. I pray your surgery is a success and fast very fast recovery. Any kid that's ever had to go through this my hats off to ALL of you.
my little brother has down syndrome and its hard sometimes. My family has always looked up to the Robertsons and to hear jase and missy talk about their struggles and how they overcame them just gives me so much comfort. Especially when they talked about when mia was first born, we went through a lot of the same troubles. Thank you Robertson family for staying strong and helping me stay strong.
I love Duck Dynasty more than any show. I have not heard prayer on a weekly show since ""Lassie."" I didn't read the Bible before the problem Phil had with A&E and now I read it every day. Watching that show has blessed me, and I say God bless little Mia.

Mia is beautiful! I was born cleft lip and cleft palate. I have had 16 surgeries. One every year till the age of 16. It was a rough childhood. But I am so blessed to have parents that where there for me. Y'all are doing great.

They disliked it because they mentioned God. I was watching a video yesterday and the guy put a bible quote at the beginning and ppl in the comments said they liked the video, but would watch any more of them because of bible scripture that was up about 10 seconds of the video.

The devil has a stranglehold on too many proles hearts and souls. They can't stand hearing about gods power to save a sweet child like Mia.
So sad at the rejection of these lost people. We need to pray that somehow their eyes and hearts open to The Lord for forgiveness.

we just watched the rerun of Mia's wish for a family party before her surgery......Mia is one of the most together little girls I have seen in a long time......Tough, Loving, Secure, Talented and most of all Her Faith in Her God!!! Omgosh.....Mia you Go Girl!!!!

WOW. Didn’t expect this....... I went through similar things with my son..... a lot to go through. Stay strong there are some great plastic surgeons out there. This happens more than people realize.. My son is 25 now and is doing awesome in life. So proud of him..!! ❤️. Bless you guys.. Make it a fantastic day..!!
I love these guys and Mia because she's went thru the exact same trials my baby sister did 24yrs ago now happily married with her own babygirl and successful business She started and developed on her own and like Jase I was a crying mess when it come to her surgeries and she would comfort me!!! A 4 yr old comforting her 16yr old Brother I know amazing but true every time She was ready to go I cant recall a time when She was down God Bless These Babies even if they are tuff lolol🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

I just got done watching Duck Dynasty on TV channel 1486 I loved that show.
Mia is a strong young lady. I was totally blown away with the speech she gave at the Robertson family party.
My daughter has olliers diesase ...i feel the same way her bones are so britel she cant even ride a bike and fall and she breaks her femar they put a rod in its so sad you cant help when your baby is in pain ....we know what you went threw and we will go continue to go threw it with our daughter as well...you all give so much faith and prosperity and love and that's what I'm trying to put in our family thank you for opening up I've always watched the Phil Robinson and jase it's gave me hope God can help in ways none could imagine

64 years ago my brother was born with a cleft pallet and hair lip. Not much was known and very little idea for surgery. He had to endure all the kids and adults staring and making fun of him. It broke my heart. He has finally gotten some much needed dentures so he can finally eat some really good food😆 When you are born with a cleft palate your teeth do not come in correctly and sometimes not at all. Thank goodness the Veterans Hospital was able to do this. Now I pray they can keep him alive longer with his M.S. 😇
Thank you so much for posting your story it gives other people hope who are having medical issues with their children. I would like to ask for all of you to pray for my nephew Jayden . He is 13 years old and had Osteo Sarcoma in he leg. His entire leg was removed Saturday, July 7, 2019. The Doctors aren’t sure if they were able to remove all of the cancer! As of right now he is in severe pain and facing life as he never thought he would before. His Mom is a single Mother, a school teacher who has been doing the best she can raising him on her own. This has been so devastating. Please, please, pray for them that God will take this cancer away. Thank you.

I love how mrs.robertson said she had strong women to call on to be prayed warriors nothing can compete with that .Mr.Jase is a real man ,1 he always calls on God for the answer and that always works.2 hes not afraid to say he cried it took me years to be man enough to do that an admit it....ty both for all you do and I thank God for all yall Robertson's yall seem very genuine about your love and devotion to The lord and that inspires and helps alot of us in many ways...so ty.....

My great niece will be born early Dec 2019 & will be born with a DOUBLE cleft lip and palate. I am scared for my niece and her baby, this will be her first baby. We don’t have any idea what to expect & we don’t know what this will mean for this precious baby girl. All we know right now is that she is an absolute blessing and will be loved so so much! 💖

I love the Robertson family... cause they run a family business... at the end of the day the Robertson family has a family together at Phil and Kay's house... they pray before they eat... faith, family, ducks ...God is #1...they are honest to each other... they are a Christian family... they go to church every Sunday... they love one another... Miss Kay cooks healthy foods... every time I watch the show her food looks delicious... I would love to have some of her healthy foods that she cooks ...
God has a special plan for that little girl, and she is going to do great things.
When she said she was blessed with those strong women around her I got all teary-eyed because those of us who have watched the show know how true that comment really is. Imagine having Mrs. Kay as a mother in law! She reminds me of my mother so much. I know if something ever happened to the way we live our lives and we had to be self dependent on ourselves for food or anything else my family would be ok. Just like the Robertsons. They would probably be the top tribe!! 😂 😂

Mia is one lucky little girl. My father was born without a palette and I remember his final palette surgery when I was 5 yrs old. Was a scary time for our family some 50+ years ago.
I literally tear up everytime i hear Mia's story Jase is a tough man i would have ripped the doctors head off probably

you wouldn't have. i was molested by a dr. at age 4 1/2 right in front of relatives including my dad and he did nothing but stare directly ahead. it's because adults worship the ground drs. walk on and think they're something akin to God.

I have been struggling lately in my walk with the Lord. Last night, He led me, and I mean LITERALLY I was just scrolling through RUclips videos, and a video of Jase preaching popped up. He was telling the story of when Phil was really bad off but Miss Kay knew there was still hope and she talked to a preacher who went to Phil and led him to Jesus. Again, just now, I picked up my phone and the first thing I see is your story of Mia and hope. Jesus is walking with me. I must have hope!
My Wife was born in 1940 without a upper pallet,They put in a new one as for back as 70+ yrs sgo.

He has a lot of operations ,they took a piece of bone from his hip and put it in his gum so his teeth would grow in the right way everyone at the hospital where he works think the world of him .he is a special person ,I have 4 other kids and I love them all the same
