I thought the applause at 1:30 was confusing also. After watching this in its entirety it seems almost as if he's describing having a multiple personality disorder. In fact sometimes I thought maybe he's actually a twin and one twin performs the songs and the other one does the interviews.

The truth is Bruce was filling Stadiums through out America but record sales didn’t match so he’s sought advice from a wise music industry guy who gave this info! Bruce writes about Machines and such but love songs no - so Bruce’s next single “Hungry heart” started a new chapter and success! When you listen again to his intro maybe keep this in mind!
