👍 Waiting on new battery to swap later today so thanks for this video. Have noticed on the three US videos of the same car that they don’t have the battery sensor fitted.
@@kwikmechanic6844swapped out the batteries but there didn’t seem to be any way to disconnecting the sensor. Everything worked as your VT except I am still getting the Battery Management warning and back to orange flashing i-stop after it went to green. I would be obliged if you can advise on disconnection of the sensor as the only thing that moved was a grey wedge shaped locking? clip.
blimey what a palaver, I started with a totally dead battery, so I guess I begin from hooking up the battery without sensor? It would have been cool if you had shown how the sensor unplugs.
@@kwikmechanic6844 there was a sensor there just didn't noticed it on the first glance. I've followed this procedure, don't think I did it right. And certain lights were already on the dash because my battery was weak. Car drives fine. Didn't really had to fiddle with Istop after replacing the battery so all good so far. Radio stations were wiped, I haven't checked the sat na, but everything else stayed the same it seems. Thanks for the vid!

@@mr.b.4048 if you don’t have the sensor fitted then you’re fine and it’s a simple swap out of the battery as normal.

@@mr.b.4048 when you slide the grey clip, you have to then press it and while pressed pulled the sensor out.
@@kwikmechanic6844 - 👍 thanks. Subzero and dark now so I will repeat it tomorrow.

If my mazda doesn't have the negative sensor, am I free from headache?
@@bartizq then that means you don’t have a start stop car do you? If so then you are free from a lot of headaches 😂
