If you see your jungler coming save up your barrels. If you land a barrel combo as the jungler comes in it's pretty much a guaranteed kill. If your enemy laner always dodges your barrels set the first one up in a bush. When the jungler comes in from the back, they'll walk toward the bush for a second and you can combo them then.
Psycho to make decisions whether to split push or team fight depends on each situation but if you team is winning and it's a 4v5 go split but if different go help with your team you can also still use your ult to help your team still
The best thing to do is to make it look like the enemy laner can kill you fight him and loose the fight he will chase you and then the jungler comes in for the gank that way the enemy laner has lost hp and is far on your side of the map
GP doesnt have the best gank follow up but as long as you hit your barrel on them as the jungler is coming to gang is good enough. when i am unsure wether or not i can really hit my barrel on the enemy as a follow up, i usually just place a barrel right on top of them. even better when you have ult. that one is hard to miss. even better when you hit your barrels in the ult which really chunks and slows the guy down.
Playing against people who focus on destroying your barrels is a pain... especially if they're high range high atk speed champs. Hard to beat them at timing the barrels

The biggest problem is that junglers don't consider the strengths/weaknesses of GP. They'll invade against, for instance, Darius+Lee Sin, or try to gank when counter gank is very likely (level 3). GP's skirmishing is quite restricted early because of high barrel cooldowns+countdowns, no dash, and only one (sort of) damage ability (whereas someone like Renekton has 3). Phantom/one-part barrels are very useful, especially in an all-in duel, as they're pretty much a guaranteed hit. I think it's something worth practicing.
i have a pretty good tip that people should always do when splitting with gp. When destroying turrets always leave a barrel near you so you can escape a gank. Destroying the barrel will give you lot of ms and if u can you should 1 part combo the ganker
Hey man nice vid and stream :) My question is an issue I've had in solo queue a little bit. Had a string of games mid vs the likes of Katarina, Annie, Fizz, Ahri, Twisted Fate, and I think you might know where I'm going here. With GP's poor early game, how do I manage keeping high roam potential mids in line, and when they do inevitably roam, how do I either stop the bleeding or turn it into my favor. I often feel like immediately shoving will lead to my doom if top rotates or the jungler comes, and despite spam pings in both my lane and the lane the opponent is headed little comes out of it for our benefit.
high roaming mids will continue to roam. alot of the time, you shouldnt be following them. just keep your farm up, and push the lane when the enemy is not there. need to play it smart, though
My biggest problem is being too aggro, especially because I mostly play norms with friends, when I go into ranked things don't work out as I expect it to. Also I was wondering why I recognized your name and I remember it's cause I've seen you in queue a few times, great video man!
yesterday I was playing with a dia3 friend. wrong runes and masteries(still had tld) against a corki. our gragas said: i have the feeling gp will feed. we ended up losing the game really hard. until a baron fight were I got a quadra. In the end we won and I was 12/3/20. Currently I am S4. Thanks for some of the tipps. the biggest problem about my elo is ppl dont know how gp works. And thanks for the video. you deserve more attention buddy
My biggest problem is playing bruisers like Renekton, Riven, Camille, etc. who can dive me at nearly full health with their jungler. The only thing I can do is have a barrel next to me under tower and drop my ult to slow them as I run away. Any tips on this?
There are problems that you get used to when you play GP. Starting a fight can be pretty easy since your ult is so useful, but the middle-fight combos can eventualy kill you when trying to hit q on one of then and end being CC'd. In fact, you should train your Double barrel combos since the triple barrel is a good engage and the ghost barrel is barrely used in fights(it's useful in laning fase). Great video ;D . The big problem, of course, is laning against a Pantheon.
playing GP as support is nice when you know how to properly deny vision. a red ward in the bush nearest to your tower is always optimal. plus, a tank that heals for half his life, slows you down even to the edge of infinity and runs faster than keemstar is always a pain in the ass to deal with.
never go near their dash range and kite around with barrels. always have a barrel on top of you; when you dont back off. anyone that can just go straight up to gp's face with ease is a hard match up for him(especially irelia. fuck her Q). you just need to respect their range and salvage whatever cs you can get.
Hi Nikjojo, the biggest problem is that I cant do the triple barrels or I only do few in the game.. could u show me how to do that velvetly :) and what should I do when facing against Riven, fiora, camille.. ths!
Hey i have a question, how would you play gp against a really good zed. especially one who roams and ends up extremely strong later. been having trouble with him and talon mostly on gp
btw I saw how much damage you did in the early games. I use lethality runes on GP now, cuz the new patch gives you 60% of the lethality early game and the 40% left mid/late game. Your Q and barrol combo's do alot of damage early now. I use flat AD reds, Armor/health scaling yellows, full Lethality quins and CDR blue's. I'm experimenting with a little bith of crit runes atm. It kinda works when ur lucky plz share ur thoughts Nikjojo
Great guide bud! I dont really understand why is everybody rushing youmus so early when your e already ignores 60% of armor and ap is not that usefull early. I prefer 3f into ie into statik, then consider er for 70%crit or youmus/lord d for penetration. Can you explain which build and starting items are best and in what situations?
if you're inexperienced with gp, i recommend IE static shiv. if you're good with GP and you know how to play the midgame (and know how to barrel combo well) go Youmuus second item. statistically, youmuus second item has a higher winrate than skipping youmuus and going IE.
About tip number 4. Land a barrel on enemy champion, Q them, walk up AA them. By them do you mean to trigger the barrel or to use the barel as distraction and straight up Q the enemy champion?
Tip 4 is about getting a large amount of damage in a short time. Land a barrel combo on the enemy (2 barrel chain, AA to detonate), run up and AA the enemy (applying your passive), then Q them, and you will proc thunderlords too. Its a high amount of damage in a short time. I always use this combo when against melee matchups (when possible).
I just recently started playing gangplank, and I really find it fun playing mid but apart from the double barrel combo, which takes me so much concentration to be pulled off properly expecially when the enemy is a ranged champ... any tips for this poor newbie gp?
Thats a frequent question.. AD runes help in laning phase a LOT but lethality helps your crit dmg so much in late game.. hard to choose, right? If your matchup lets you farm relatively safely, then go lethality runes so you have more dmg with crits in late game. If you are against a hard matchup you need a way to presure the laner enough to let you farm and that is, when AD is something you really need. That's the basic stuff.. I've been experimenting with different startup items and I found out that if you run TP in top lane you can afford to buy crystal, wait for 700 gold, instantly back and buy Sheen, TP into lane and from then on your laning phase should be ok. If you can pull this off and not die 'till you have the Sheen you can go with lethality runes and aim for an OP late game. It's a good strategy if you can play it safe and tell your jungler that it's pointless to gank you since you have 0 dmg.. Also lethality is suprisingly good against squishy matchups in lane since you are getting close to true dmg with your Q and especially barrels (% ignor armor).
tbh my runes are 44% bonus critt dmg, its super good for me since as gp i mainly focus on the critts. my build is like a gamble only 40% chance of critt but once i critt its a 1.6k critt guaranted which helps alot in team fights, but thats just my play style
+saneh barati I run into silvers and gold that do this on my smurf, it's extremely silly imho, runes are there to secure your early game, without resistances you will get punished so hard without being able to make full use of crit dmg till much later, and if your enemy does allow you to get to mid-late then you could've cucked them harder with a standard rune page (cdr blues are nice, but that's again helps you all game long not just mid-late). It's so damn easy to totally destroy or abuse a lane opponent that hasn't taken proper resistance runes against you, especially if they didnt take flat dmg but instead opted for something like crit dmg. But yeah, if you survive the early game by some miracle i can see your runes working out (but it's not consistent, you should always aim for consistency), but no armour or mr and gp's notoriously bad early combined will make you such a free kill for anyone with a braincell, no offence or disrespect intended.
i get what ur saying im just so used to the runes that early is just the same even if i play without them, im a silver 5 scrub who just want them juicy critts with gp, too many games i have not been able to carry with gp when my KDA is amazing its so tilting that my passionate love for leauge is dead only fun to play gp or teemo
You'd probably have a much better time doing what Ivor mentioned. That's a silly/useless early game build that only becomes effective once you build crit. Not to mention you ONLY build 40% crit chance? Why even use those runes in the first place then? It makes almost no sense my friend. You sacrifice early game resistances/damage for a mid game spike that essentially makes you useless. :(
As a gp main i have a few notes on the build path. 1st of all u wont always be able to b w 1050 gold. Therefore when im in a situation like that i like to buy cull/spellthiefs edge. 2nd thing that i wanted to mention is that ur build does not reach the cdr cap so i think that cdr boots are mutch better than swifties.
Actually i think the biggest problem at playing GP is using the maximum distance of your barrels properly. Any recomendations for that if you want to keep it on "smartcast" without range indicator tool.
1)I tend to keep trying to force the enemy laner to give me lane control with my Q over and over, but I keep baiting myself into bad fights. 2) My double barrel combos suck. Hard for me to get a feel for the range and I hate quickcast with indicator as it feels too slow.
best moment is when you are facing a GP and always win the keg minigame my biggest problem is to be able to put my barrel at the longest range of each other when playing smartcast(without it is too slow) do you have a tip to put your barrel at right distance?
I play GP mainly top lane, my laning phase usually goes well but when it comes to split pushing, the fighters usually just shit on GP with dives... What's your opinion on that ?
I have no idea how or when i can 1v1 someone reliably. come mid or late game i want to split but i usually dont know if i can get away with it. could you do a gp fighting guide maybe? how to approach fights, good all ins, etc.
my biggest problem with gp are the barrel combos....and in teamfights i'm pretty much useless if I can't poke the carries but the main problem is that i am not connecting the barrels or i put em too close together..i really like gp and he's the only champ that i don't get bored of ..
Unranked gangplank, not even level 30 yet (I play LOL for fun, not competition, but that doesnt mean I dont want to get better either.) I know this will sound really typical of someone with as little experience as me, but how do you get good farm without putting yourself at too much risk early game? Im actually getting my late game down really solid on GP, and I know early game gp you are not supposed to be very strong, yet I find myself not even able to get good farm early game.
Hello, any tips on when I should use barrels and when I should not? I always end up having only 1 barrel when a teamfight happens. What should I do in such situation? Thanks!
Hi. Firstly, cap out CDR. Secondly, if nothing important is going on, try to have 2 barrels in stock always. This is easier if you don't always attempt to triple barrel combo.
Biggest problem ? Games closing to early for GP to be relevant plus accepting to have nearly no landing phase and teammates that will surely flame you for not using ult (when an ult would've resulted in nothing) or not roaming when everyone knows GP roaming SUCKS. Then they'll come and say "what a god" when a barrel will win a team fight
High range, high attack speed. That always messes up my barrels so my damage sometimes dips in teamfights when I'm actually strong but can't get barrels off.
'Kill steal with your ult' The best strat lol Cool tips though, I'll try the double barrel double passive Also my biggest problems are pantheon and fiora existing
(Spanish)
Try using the technique I mentioned above, having a barrel ready in a bush. When the jungler comes in that's your chance to snag them with a barrel combo as they run away towards bush then tower.
Luke Johnson when us jungler comes to gank save 2 barrels and when he comes put the first one in the place your enemy is standing then hit it one time to make it with 1 stack and try to use the 2nd one from a high range
No dude. You have to initiate the fight, not your jungler. While ur jungle waits in the bush, you have to land ANY barrel combo and then that should be the GO sign for your jungler to initiate. It will always guarantee a flash or sums from the enemy considering that they will be slowed by 80% which will increase the threat of the gank.
unranked GP here No problems with him is that good that i farm passively and poke my enemy with Q's between farms and i farm every single game 300 at 30 mint ? looking for an answer i just help my teams with ultis till late game then i barrel theyre asses with crit all i go for this build tryforce cdr boots statik shiv yoummus essence reaver and infinity edge
My biggest problem playing gp is Orianna matchup i can win every matchup or at least reach the midgame powerspike except of that Orianna cancer any thoughts?thanks in advance
hey, i have 2 questions. Firstly, i see tobias fate getting spellthief as a gp item. what it the purpose of the spellthief? Secondly, when i triple barrel, its very hard for me to land it onto the enemy. Like yes, i can do the combo, but like its not easy to land it. Do you have any tips for this?
Tubbs spellthief is a good item to get gold fast, as it has the gold per second as well as the passive which can sometimes get you more gold. it pays for itself around 5-8 mins into the game
I'm a garbage silver ELO player whose's playing this game (since Season 3) only because of Gangplank, Azir, Twisted Fate and Kassadin, and I fucking love them. They're all Late Game/Macroplay Champions, whose have shitty lane phases because they do no damage unless you got their 2 core items (RoA/Lich Bane; Triforce/IE; Nashor's/Rylai). My biggest problem that I face when I'm playing not just with Gangplank, but as the others said above too is: This ally dumb jungler tries to gank your lane when you're low level and you got no burst/major cc/gap close, they die and blame you because of their stupidity. Then they start to "punish" you (like ignoring your calls, taking your farm/buffs, thrash talking into you etc) and at the same time tilt af, while doing some brainless plays whose just make the victory get far away. In the most scenarios, I win the game because I keep my blood cold and try to get leads with CS/Pick Offs, but I always get exhausted physically and mentally when I finish these games. These kind of player disappears at higher ELO? Is the /mute all a good idea?
Sir Hastur oh god I know that feel, doesn't even matter if you spam danger pings and write no ganks, the jungler will still force the gank before you even have sheen and when you have 0 barrels...
I play at BR, so I think it's a lil bit worse... Here the children just know how to play with 2 champions at the jungle: Lee Sin and Master Yi. Pretty bad =/
My biggest problem is when enemy jungler ganks or midlane roams.. I dont know what to do with my barrels when getting engaged. Never know where to put them and when to let them explode.
I started playing gp very recently and I climbed from silver to gold with it, but now what I struggle most on gp is when I take too long to finish my triforce, or when I don't get enough farm, either because I get camped, or I get a hard matchup... and that results on me being useless for the rest of the game and falling behind Sometimes I play against someone bad and I get first blood, then finish triforce at 8 minutes and snowball like hell, but sometimes I die two or 3 times and take like 18 minutes to finish triforce and the game just goes poooo....
I have truble in the late game, dosn't seem like, im either hitting enough barrels, or my team or i just fed the early to much, so that it is hard to come back from
My biggest problem is the time of the barrel's life, at lower lvls ranged enemy's usually destroy my barrel before i can get the double barrel combo. Is easyer for me at lvl 13.
Hi.. i have 2 problems while playing gp, one is i always got the 500 Silver Serpents late on the game. and the other one is i only can pull the triple barrel combo. can't do the doble one idk why something have to be missing
My problem when playing gp is when i do the double barrel combo. I dont know the exact range on it to connect. So if i quick cast it it either goes too close or doesn't connect
Gangplank main here... and I approve this guide...I do in game exactly as this guide says and its a huge success. I have a couple of GP video in my channel if anyone is interested.
Somehow I almost always manage to die early to strong ap casters in mid, like Ekko, Ahri, Yasuo too, even though I try my best to play it as safe as possible. Any tips for surviving?
My problem is the fact that sometimes I get fed and I don't die, but the first or second time I die (Min 35-40) we practically lose the game, I have problems closing the game when I'm fed.
my biggest problem was in top when i was killing nasus and suddenly le blanc would show up from nowhere and hecarim too then they kill me and katarina wouldnt even pig that leblanc was missin'
My biggest problem is the silver serpants. Early in the game, O don't know how often to use my q becouse I run out of mana pretty fast. I usualy end up at my first 500 silver in around 30 minutes. Do you have any tips for me?
You can take the mana mastery as well as a ring for the regen if you'd like. if you really want to stay in the lane you can even take two rings. Usually, early in laning you don't want to be qing minions but rather the opponent while sitting on a barrel. Of course, this depends on who you're laning against. If you have the on hit gold mastery you'll actually get MORE gold from a q to the opponent rather than one last hit q passive. This is if you can actually farm with melee however. Focus on silver serpents after you finish tri. Once you finish tri you can easily barrel a whole wave and kill casters then take out the melees with another.
Very good guide, actually started playing GP with 65% winrate in low plat 20 games just so I can calm my tits in the early game (as I main yas, and the biggest problem with yas is being too ham in the early despite being a late champ). With gp having shite early actually encourages you to play safe, then in the midgame you can farm like hell so early game loss wont really have much impact once you reach Trinity force (provided you didnt missplay the early).
my probleme when i play gangplank is that i feel like playing the "watch ur team die and do nthg simulator" while i use my r to help team and go fight with them
D5 GP main, biggest problem has to be teammates losing the game and their morale before gp gets to a strong enough point to start carrying fights.
Daniel Brock same problem
^ biggest problem playing gp
Same my team usually falls over and die before 20 mins
thats the reason im so depressed, when i get to my second iteam being IE my team are a bunch of suicidal schoolshoters and no matter how many easy picks i get i try to show em how stronk i is but still they just wank in nexus tower whilst enemies take baron...
Happens in every division don't worry .
My biggest issue is when my jungler ganks and I can't follow up. Another one is when I don't know if I should be split pushing or team fighting.

GP doesnt have the best gank follow up but as long as you hit your barrel on them as the jungler is coming to gang is good enough. when i am unsure wether or not i can really hit my barrel on the enemy as a follow up, i usually just place a barrel right on top of them.

Kenny Chow yh that is my worst nightmare
Kenny Chow this just fucking tilted me
Kenny Chow just one champ thats annoys me is cait
azir is so obnoxious in that regard, his auto attacks are like instant
If thats the case try placing one barrel behind you as the ignition .
Well made video, gave me lots of useful information that i'm able to use to hopefully become a better gangplank, i thank you for making this video as i believe it will help lots of GP players.

After I watched this guide, I realized that I was already doing all of this whenever I pick GP. A good way to confirm that i'm doing good with GP. Thanks

I just got to league again. Whats a good rune build for GP right now? Ty ! Awesome video!
My biggest problem is playing bruisers like Renekton, Riven, Camille, etc. who can dive me at nearly full health with their jungler. The only thing I can do is have a barrel next to me under tower and drop my ult to slow them as I run away. Any tips on this?
Keep track of enemy jungler and dont ever stay under the turret when you are low. Its better to lose some cs than die to riven who can snowball hard.
Dont let the wave shove under tower. Zone your laner with a barrel in your minion wave. Aa barrle if they come close for slow and speed then q.

thx for the tips bro. Your videos have helped me a shit ton
This is so nostalgic now, after 2 years...
Just want opinions on how i build. I like tankplank. Tri force>IE/GA>lucidity>deadmans>spirit visage something kinda like that
I'm struggling too much in lane versus all-in champs that rush you and put way too much damage like Fiora/Wukong/Ekko
never go near their dash range and kite around with barrels. always have a barrel on top of you; when you dont back off.

I prefer 3f into ie into statik, then consider er for 70%crit or youmus/lord d for penetration. Can you explain which build and starting items are best and in what situations?
if you're inexperienced with gp, i recommend IE static shiv.
if you're good with GP and you know how to play the midgame (and know how to barrel combo well) go Youmuus second item.
statistically, youmuus second item has a higher winrate than skipping youmuus and going IE.
the bane of gangplanks existence is tryndamere
Big question, AD or Lethality runes?
Hey, thanks for the very informative video, I was wondering though, what ulti upgrades should I take first?
Raise Morale
great question man!
if you and ur team is bhind take fire at will first
what runes do you use? and when will I see a gameplay?
As a gp main i have a few notes on the build path.
1st of all u wont always be able to b w 1050 gold. Therefore when im in a situation like that i like to buy cull/spellthiefs edge.
2nd thing that i wanted to mention is that ur build does not reach the cdr cap so i think that cdr boots are mutch better than swifties.
andrija simic if you go 15 cdr plus triforce and youumus 45cd
Actually i think the biggest problem at playing GP is using the maximum distance of your barrels properly. Any recomendations for that if you want to keep it on "smartcast" without range indicator tool.
learn. just learn and keep it in your brain. Use the practice tool. You will now and learn. Trust me. Persevere!
I got problems with using my strengths in teamfights against range carrys. they always fuck up my barrels btw. great video!
ist this prince of persia warrior within soundtrack? :O just picked that game up for nostalgia
Tomi csatornája duuude, i thought so too!!!!!!! it IS prince of persia!! omg it was my favorite game
1)I tend to keep trying to force the enemy laner to give me lane control with my Q over and over, but I keep baiting myself into bad fights.
2) My double barrel combos suck. Hard for me to get a feel for the range and I hate quickcast with indicator as it feels too slow.
best moment is when you are facing a GP and always win the keg minigame
my biggest problem is to be able to put my barrel at the longest range of each other when playing smartcast(without it is too slow)
do you have a tip to put your barrel at right distance?
I play GP mainly top lane, my laning phase usually goes well but when it comes to split pushing, the fighters usually just shit on GP with dives... What's your opinion on that ?
just take it.
i get dove alot. try to maybe spot a dive potential, like if the enemy pops health pots while at near full health
where can i find that page in which u give all the details on double barrel combos?
I have no idea how or when i can 1v1 someone reliably. come mid or late game i want to split but i usually dont know if i can get away with it. could you do a gp fighting guide maybe? how to approach fights, good all ins, etc.
biggest problem is team fights not being able to drop barrels down or carry a team fight, especially when using Grasp of the undying.
my biggest problem with gp are the barrel combos....and in teamfights i'm pretty much useless if I can't poke the carries but the main problem is that i am not connecting the barrels or i put em too close together..i really like gp and he's the only champ that i don't get bored of ..
Can you make a video on matchups and how to deal with certain champions (maokai, fiora, riven, Jayce etc.)
what key stone should i get when my opponent can counter my gangplank :/ like cammile, zed, yasuo, katarina etc..
High range, high attack speed. That always messes up my barrels so my damage sometimes dips in teamfights when I'm actually strong but can't get barrels off.
@nikjojo how do I get used to quickcast? and is it ok to play on smartcast?
'Kill steal with your ult'
The best strat lol
Cool tips though, I'll try the double barrel double passive
Also my biggest problems are pantheon and fiora existing
2:54 where did u find that nice-looking image of gp's kit?
Haku New game Launcher Go to the champ and press on abilitys
(Spanish)
My biggest problem is getting torn apart by Zeds and Talons... i cant seem to find any counterplay than having exhaust up...?
my problem is when my jungler ganks me. I also do like 0 dmg unless i land a barrel combo which is hard because they will be running away 😕
It gives gold and a bit of sustain from the mana regen and ap.
Idk if you will reply to this but when I play gp the timer around the barrel I can't see it I only see the 3red bars any help?
I'm a garbage silver ELO player whose's playing this game (since Season 3) only because of Gangplank, Azir, Twisted Fate and Kassadin, and I fucking love them.
They're all Late Game/Macroplay Champions, whose have shitty lane phases because they do no damage unless you got their 2 core items (RoA/Lich Bane; Triforce/IE; Nashor's/Rylai).
My biggest problem that I face when I'm playing not just with Gangplank, but as the others said above too is:
This ally dumb jungler tries to gank your lane when you're low level and you got no burst/major cc/gap close, they die and blame you because of their stupidity.
Sir Hastur And I am just an eune plat player, and this happens pretty much 60% of games
I play at BR, so I think it's a lil bit worse... Here the children just know how to play with 2 champions at the jungle: Lee Sin and Master Yi. Pretty bad =/
I am pretty sure eune is the second worst server, right after oceania when talking about skills. Eune challenger < br b5 😂
wut
We're known as "Bronzillians"
Even in professional scenario, EUNE can be better than most teams of BR
My biggest problem is when do I use one part or a normal double barrel in a team fight to maximize my damage.
i an do the double barrel combo perfectly, but any tips on a triple barrel combo?
right eye on the map left eye on the game... got it
which ult upgrade to go first and which one second??
My biggest problem is when enemy jungler ganks or midlane roams.. I dont know what to do with my barrels when getting engaged. Never know where to put them and when to let them explode.
What do u think about Penetration runes?
my biggest problem... wag the positioning of the barrel..cant position it properly to get a long range chain reaction of the barrel
Which part of the riven combo do I orange?
I started playing gp very recently and I climbed from silver to gold with it, but now what I struggle most on gp is when I take too long to finish my triforce, or when I don't get enough farm, either because I get camped, or I get a hard matchup... and that results on me being useless for the rest of the game and falling behind
Sometimes I play against someone bad and I get first blood, then finish triforce at 8 minutes and snowball like hell, but sometimes I die two or 3 times and take like 18 minutes to finish triforce and the game just goes poooo....
Nice video! Very helpful!
I have truble in the late game, dosn't seem like, im either hitting enough barrels, or my team or i just fed the early to much, so that it is hard to come back from
My biggest problem is having my barrells hit by ranged champs. And the fact I always feel the need to use the "Phantom Barrell" combo
My biggest problem is the time of the barrel's life, at lower lvls ranged enemy's usually destroy my barrel before i can get the double barrel combo. Is easyer for me at lvl 13.
Why you never use e-q-e combo? Its his strongest one cause its hardest to dodge, tho hard to time
double barrel combos are the problems I face. I just recently started using gangplank.
Hi.. i have 2 problems while playing gp, one is i always got the 500 Silver Serpents late on the game. and the other one is i only can pull the triple barrel combo. can't do the doble one idk why something have to be missing
g1 gp main, problem is its hard to me to lane vs more toplaners but i have 70%wr on him, how do i increase my laning phase skills?
My problem when playing gp is when i do the double barrel combo. I dont know the exact range on it to connect. So if i quick cast it it either goes too close or doesn't connect
I personally like to sell tri - force in late and buy something with crit if i don't have it already
What advanced tips where there? Did I miss something?
Gangplank main here... and I approve this guide...I do in game exactly as this guide says and its a huge success.
I have a couple of GP video in my channel if anyone is interested.
Could you tell me the masteries and runes for gp , cuz i dunno what to do :(
my biggest problem with gangplank? Phantom barrel-ing and freaking out is not an option
i can play my lane amazing and all but i cant do anything if my whole team feeds before i can scale enough to carry
when to go duskblade and when to go ghostblade?
My biggest problem is knowing the exact range of my barrels and properly using them in a tf
i really cant do anything before lvl 13 in fights . I just sit down in top lane until i pick lvl 13 , and after I go fight or rotate
Somehow I almost always manage to die early to strong ap casters in mid, like Ekko, Ahri, Yasuo too, even though I try my best to play it as safe as possible. Any tips for surviving?
Farm up with Q, don't cs if it means youre going to lose too much health
My biggest problem comes when i am in a Teamfight and i'm not in range to use the barrels without being killed by the enemy carry or midlaner.
where is the meditation mastery did they get rid of it?
My problem is the fact that sometimes I get fed and I don't die, but the first or second time I die (Min 35-40) we practically lose the game, I have problems closing the game when I'm fed.
Diego Meza kill people take towers and drakes
honestly, a good ulti to start the fight and then hitting a single barrel on at least one carry will win u the game lol
Diego Meza lmfao
my biggest problem was in top when i was killing nasus and suddenly le blanc would show up from nowhere and hecarim too then they kill me and katarina wouldnt even pig that leblanc was missin'
my biggest problem is i always seem to q my barrels to late or just misposition them to were the enemy can take them out before i can explode them :/
How do you properly win the early game against yasuo ?
Jayce is a huge problem and i can't perform the phantom barrel. I know it's just fancy but i want to learn it :/
my previous video explains how to perform a phantom barrel
Thanks alot man, i'll try this out. Thanks for the video too
This isn't my video but your welcome teehee
Very good guide, actually started playing GP with 65% winrate in low plat 20 games just so I can calm my tits in the early game (as I main yas, and the biggest problem with yas is being too ham in the early despite being a late champ). With gp having shite early actually encourages you to play safe, then in the midgame you can farm like hell so early game loss wont really have much impact once you reach Trinity force (provided you didnt missplay the early).
my probleme when i play gangplank is that i feel like playing the "watch ur team die and do nthg simulator" while i use my r to help team and go fight with them
the biggest problem? i cant 1v1 anyone, when i do my barrels i dont have much damage left to put on the enemy, while the enemy is killing me.
My biggest problem is that I get my barrels hit before I can boom boom them.
