To clarify since I've seen a few comments. Solo laners actually hit lvl 6 on the 5:00min wave IF they get every single minion of xp. Most of the time this doesn't happen because of xp sharing, early recalls or just the general shenanigans of early laning, hence why in the vast majority of situations the lvl 6 is on the 5:30 wave. Regardless tho, taking push waves 1 will have you building a slow push for the 5:00 wave as well, so the toplaner tip covered in the video works either way!
I mean that's also the thing, on champs like rengar this tip is 50/50 since u wasting time waiting not gaining anything puts you behind compared to champs like seju that doesn't rely on being strong.
@@Tyrvana was gonna say this, this okay style is better suited for "supporting" jnglers like sej and amumu. Full clear and counter jungling off of enemy camps is broken too for certain carry champs. Something perryjg does for the current meta it at least the previous 3 months i think

Honestly, even if you dont know the exact details, the point that cannon waves are the best to push towers and it is therefore advantages to play around them is nothing new. Same with the XP
This is absolutely one of the greatest tips you will get for each role, seriously. 1. Top lane the 9th wave 6 lvl up is almost game changer for the mid game as it rewards the team with void grubs 2. Jgler, a full core item completed and just wait patiently to get info for plays is sometimes crucial for unexpected for the enemies 3. Mid lane cannon wave crash and push will always give you the lead sometimes pinging supp to help is also great as it force the enemy to base and it becomes a free plate sometimes even 3 plates before 9 mins, as for supp, helping mid will also give prio for objectives And Finally Adc with complete tier 2 boots and 1 complete items that gives ms is the go for the waves collection in all lanes as it allows for respond time to team fights very quickly.
not exactly about adc. That's a bad summary. The point is "do not get stuck with 1 plan". Yes, going mid is good, but it's not gospel. See where there are opportunities open and make use of them. If mid is stuck in a tug war (push and get pushed), take the chance after your push to see where you can go to minimize your down time. Rather than staying mid and farming nothing (or exposing yourself by farming too far ahead), go elsewhere where your team is, and by the time the play is over (roughly 30 seconds in), you can go back to mid and the wave will be there waiting for you. Keep an eye open for multiple choices, rather than just one.
The midlane tip was actually mentioned by faker in a paid exclusive content in the team membership!! before their game they were watching a kdf game and faker zoomed in on the cannon and mentioned to Coach Tom that the cannon attack speed seemed to be higher than usual and they spent a few time analyzing it afterwards… insane tip
Man! You just helped me understand the game. I don't really play but I enjoy watching Worlds. With this one video, I get a clearer picture of what they are doing. Cheers mate!
This is probably the best "do this for challenger" type videos. Clear, easy to understand instructions that not only teach a fundamental skill but also creates conversation about how to play game as a whole. Weird how my "blueprint" as a support has evolved in couple months ever since I stumbled up on this channel, comparing to how slow my development was for 13 years before 😅
Regarding the support tip, I sometimes do this in plat/emerald elo but half the time your midlaner spams question marks on you and mental booms cause you took his xp when you need to help crash. This is the reason you never see people do it in lower ranks, it's just not worth the risk of upsetting a chimp. A lot of the time people don't understand you're trying to help them, so you can only play in a way that they will accept. For the same reason low elo supports get flamed by adc for leaving bot even though it was a good roam time.
While some of these tips may require your team members not being completely clueless, it’s great to learn tactics from high level play that go against traditional basic advice (eg jungler always farming).
As someone who has watched a ton of educational content since season 3 I must say that this was very refreshing and well done. Keep it up, can’t wait to see more of you!

oooh I'm really sorry coach rogue, but I accidentally found out the mid lane canon minion attack speed while trying to find some information about canon minion spawn times.
That mid tip was actually nuts. Often I hear people try to use cannon waves as a timer to roam or back because "Oh I'll only miss a few minions instead of a whole wave", but seeing how that is actually the opposite is eye opening. The sieging is crazy too, always knew I totally was doing the right thing by not roaming :)
I randomly learn some of the dumbest shit in league, so I actually knew about the mid lane siege minion buff. For a less useful but really weird tip, the Exhaust summoner spell counts as a hit for Electrocute. This is the same tech that had to get special-cased off of Nami's E back when she was taking Electrocute, but a good chunk of CC effects will count as a hit for proccing Electrocute.
I think a good way of describing the jungle tip is the classic phrase 'its fast to be slow' honestly the payoff for the patient plays feels so good too when it works
For the jungle one- I agree sitting in a bush or bypassing camps can be useful. BUT, you are also playing Sejuani in this example. A Diana or other power farm jungler should probably never do this. Sejuani is one of the top junglers for playing for lanes vs camp cycling. Really should clarify that point.
The toplane tip is very useful. I didn't even know that the third-wave crash influenced the position of wave 9 for the level 6 timer. However, you cannot do a third-wave crash every single game because of all the different factors that impact which kind of crash (second, third or fourth wave) fits the respective laning phase. For example, the weakness of the third-wave crash is that you're standing closer towards the enemy tower during the common gank timer after the enemy jungler has finished their clear. Provided they pathed into topside, of course.
Honestly as a top main, I’ve been doing this too subconsciously for years now, but it’s good to hear someone actually explain it, now I can tell lower elo mates what I’m actually doing that’s causing the situation I’m in 😂 Also the support tip, I find myself doing as well although not as cleanly as some of the clips. The others are complete news to me really good tips tbh. Well done 👍
I think it's great that the jungle tip was team oriented, but i'd argue this really only works consistently in higher levels of play gold-plat+. I think it's important to play to the skillset of your team and understanding what each division is capable of doing is important to get to division where team play dynamics can be taken full advantage of.
Allot of these tips I actually do without noticing it was pro play tips, this just gave me a big confidence boost. The most useful tip would be the baron lane tip considering its a lane im generally not very good with
Amazing video, from Mexico thanks coach and much love, the 19 mins were absolutely worth it! now its on me to try to rank up (atm plat 1, 18lp, first split i cut the BS, stop blaming others and just focused on what i can improve) new sub for sure! hope i can join the patreon soon, its just.. im unemployed atm :/
Mission accomplished. Never knew the midlane cannon buff. Never thought about how to play around it as mid, suppoet, jungle, anything. It probably contributed to wins or losses i had no idea about. Also loves the Syndra trick of heisting the enemy cannon minion to let the wave crash while killing the friendly wave faster under tower, denying xp.
for that top lane tip, if you get all the exp i thought u hit level 6 at wave 8, so i think in theory if the jungler isnt around, you can just go for 3 wave crash, proxy wave 4, get back in time for wave 5 6 7, and on the first wave that is pushing towards the enemy you spike level 6, all in them with item advantage if they didnt burn tp, even if they did you’re still massively ahead. the other thing is if we know that, duo with the jungler and i dont know this but figure out the exact time they have to be top and execute a dive, ggs top, assuming nothing dumb happens
Camouflage/stealth champs have a secret mechanic vs anyone in a bush using oracle lens trinket. They can see that someone is in the bush in range of the enemy using oracle lens trinket and play safe. Also, champions like Shaco get hard countered by right clicking on him before he uses Q and you DO NOT click on ANYTHING or use ability/summoner spells your champion will auto path (automatically follow him where he goes for the duration) to Shaco so his Q is useless
“Enough about mid, let’s talk about the crybabies”? As a jungler, I confidently assert that both solo laners are bigger crybabies babies than any ADC that isn’t Draven
I suck a snowballing my leads as a Syndra mid that CSing are my biggest weaknesses as a player. It's nice to know that with mid cannon waves its better to push tower than match roam I've done this before and got mega flamed by adcs.
People underestimate staying in lane when your opponent roams, and even without knowing about the cannon thing, you getting an extra wave and denying it to them is huge, cause when they roam they'll share xp on top of it... so later in the game you can guarantee being stronger and use that to your advantage.
I hadn't heard the mid lane tip before and I appreciate it. I'm always hitting the tower a million times with no cannon minion wondering why it takes so long haha.
I feel like the jungle tip is more high-elo esque if anything. Up until master you cant be sure your teammates will see a play that you see + even if they do there is no guarantee they are gonna play it correctly. I think farming your camps and doing stuff afterwards - in your dead time is more benefitial in low elo because its guaranteed gold and xp. Also i feel like the ADC tip is just simple push and roam midgame strategy which everyone should know. Not hating all the other tips seem very useful!
imo it should be specified that this jungle tip is good for junglers that can afford to skip camps and/or have good ganks/followup, if you play something like graves who wants as much gold/exp as possible and has pretty bad ganks then just standing in the fog hoping that you get to do something is a coinflip play, if it doesnt pay off then you will get behind, like yeah its kind of obvious but for people that actually need this advice it might be necessary - my point being, it can be usefull SOMETIMES but it can also put you behind if something goes wrong or even if nothing happens also i guess we can call it - avoiding being offteam, you can be offteam when you're the only one that's pushing too deep but it also makes sense when you're the only one being too far behind
I was watching the midlane tip like oh yeah I know this one you don't attack the tower you go and help your jg or place wards and then you hit me with the cannon 30% as buff for midlane tower. Damn that was an eye opening moment
The support tip is huge, as midlaner I always spamping my supps to do this but they almost always never understand it and leave lane. Happened to me still while at my peak (d1)
I'm diamond and didn't know any of these things! (as a support main I sometimes helped crash mid, yes, but only when I thought my midlaner needed the crash)
Tip that well always work play late scaling champions tank/brusier/radc normally fallin this category focuse framing 10ish mins. When a early scaling champion comes at with there bounty kill them end the game
The ADC tip doesn't work on low elo and might literally lose you the game. Before you even get to top lane your top laner will spam ping you to f*** off and if you take a wave in "his" lane even though turrets are down and it's mid-late game he might even throw. Great video tho, keep them coming!
@@clarencewalters338 Mid game panth is actually strong if he is ahead, can more reliably carry with panth than jinx since ur not as squishy you can just E, buys time very strong at solo killing.
very helpful, though as a jg main (admittedly not even close to pro, i play casual, but enjoy being as good as i can at any game i play, even if i don't play ranked) i feel like the tip is a bit situational, or more specifically dependent on champion, if you're playing a more "feat of famine" type jg, i feel the correct play in the example would be to invade/farm enemy camps? like, the sejuani play is fine because even if you are behind gold/exp you have "infinite value" abilities (a lot of cc), but say a kindred, or nidalee would rather try to accelerate their lead, no? not disagreeing, just kinda wondering about other's thoughts, and working on the thought process, and such
no camps to steal because Kindred just cleared full bot side as he invaded to get that information to where Kindred was and what camps were up, but I think this tip applies to all junglers that have pushing lanes. So in this case the other jungler needs to be ready to defend dives if you have the ping/vision from the enemy rotation or crossmap play/play the other side of the map/ steal camps/objectives on the other half.
The top example wasn't good at showing what you're teaching. The jungler (shyvana) was bottom side and did not path top to reap the rewards of a top laner without flash. Also there was no actual reward shown that was gained from the play. Camille can just let the wave crash since she knows the enemy jungler is on the bottom side of the map (kayn spotted her and pinged it). Fiora is never going to dive camille with that much HP and if she tries to go in during the run back to tower Camille just E's away. There is absolutely nothing Fiora can gain from this and it didn't even seem like she was playing for the wave 9 crash intentionally, else the jungle pathing should have looked a lot different. The concept is correct, but the example was bad.
I often see people say that it's a good timer to back or roam on canon minions cus you loose less of the wave but now it seems to be the opposite. If I play a champ with mediocre or bad waveclear then when is a good timer? I will loose plates if I don't have tp is what my silver brain is thinking rn. Really good video, might be one of the best if not the best tips and tricks kinda vid I've seen. Subbed
I have been practicing the botlane tip, and I gotta say, it's a next to useless tip. What I mean is that it's something you can only do if you are already going to win the game, like massively ahead to the point they cant contest you at any wave or any transition. It just helps you win harder. But you were going to win anyways. So yeah, doesn't really help much. But thanks anyways!
So the jungle perspective is when your team is pushing you should hover between too lanes to either dive or counter gank... however if the enemy is pushing in the wave, it's also a great time to gank because they are far up... so when does your jungler want to farm? Hoping for an answer that doesn't involve having just aced the enemy but rather everyone is still up and alive... when does jungle farm based on ally wave placement?
Hello i got a question regarding the Jungle information does this info apply only to certaint drafts because in the seju game u have ksante top that u never have to worry about and u are playing seju that has great setup for ganks and dives especially but if you play something else for example lillia, gwen do you farm camps more or do you do the same
As a support I need to know, how do I convince my teammates to not go for a play like dragon if I feel like we cannot or should not contest it or simply do not have the time to sneak it . This is my biggest obstacle
To clarify since I've seen a few comments.

Not hating all the other tips seem very useful!
man only by this tips i feel like i can go to diamond 💖
for jungle I'd call that "don't just afk farm when your ultimate is up"
overly simplified, but gets the point across
very great tips overall
imo it should be specified that this jungle tip is good for junglers that can afford to skip camps and/or have good ganks/followup, if you play something like graves who wants as much gold/exp as possible and has pretty bad ganks then just standing in the fog hoping that you get to do something is a coinflip play, if it doesnt pay off then you will get behind, like yeah its kind of obvious but for people that actually need this advice it might be necessary - my point being, it can be usefull SOMETIMES but it can also put you behind if something goes wrong or even if nothing happens
also i guess we can call it - avoiding being offteam, you can be offteam when you're the only one that's pushing too deep but it also makes sense when you're the only one being too far behind
Vs graves just stand behind minions, he can no longer auto you.
As a jg kayn main, i learned from every role on this video
1:32 you get level 6 from the wave before, not the cannon wave!
Only true is you get every single minion worth of xp full solo, If you lose even 1 it's 5:30 wave (which is the case in like 95% of situations)
@@CoachRogue 95 is def too much cuz solo kill xp
Im a yorick otp in jungle and i found everything here useful!
Tip that well always work play late scaling champions tank/brusier/radc normally fallin this category focuse framing 10ish mins. When a early scaling champion comes at with there bounty kill them end the game
That mid lane tip is unreal
The ADC tip doesn't work on low elo and might literally lose you the game. Before you even get to top lane your top laner will spam ping you to f*** off and if you take a wave in "his" lane even though turrets are down and it's mid-late game he might even throw.
Great video tho, keep them coming!
its a shame too, idk what a pantheon would do with 300 gold that Jinx wouldn't do better mid game
@@clarencewalters338 its hard to expect anything when the players dont even know what they should be doing.
So in this case the other jungler needs to be ready to defend dives if you have the ping/vision from the enemy rotation or crossmap play/play the other side of the map/ steal camps/objectives on the other half.
with the lvl 6 on toplane I was like "THAT'S WHAT THEY DO"
The top example wasn't good at showing what you're teaching.
The concept is correct, but the example was bad.
came for the top lane tip, stayed cause this is some good shit
"As sup lane with mid"
My mid when I do this:
Yasuo: ky5 dog don't steal my exp and plate!
Plate falls:
"A Summoner has disconnected"
Most useful league tips video ive ever watched by a landslide
I often see people say that it's a good timer to back or roam on canon minions cus you loose less of the wave but now it seems to be the opposite. If I play a champ with mediocre or bad waveclear then when is a good timer? I will loose plates if I don't have tp is what my silver brain is thinking rn. Really good video, might be one of the best if not the best tips and tricks kinda vid I've seen. Subbed
Sub earned, thank you sir.
The support one is helpful but low elo midlaners are going to be mad you're standing there doing nothing
Ok the midlane tip was insane. Not gonna lie
10:30 rat is madddd
quick question for the top one. How much gold can you get from a 3 wave crash? is it enough for a cheater recall?
About 450-500 buy a longsword refillable or a cull :)
A cheater recall is a wave 3 crash by definition
semi new player, thanks for explaining !!!
Well done
Hello i got a question regarding the Jungle information does this info apply only to certaint drafts because in the seju game u have ksante top that u never have to worry about and u are playing seju that has great setup for ganks and dives especially but if you play something else for example lillia, gwen do you farm camps more or do you do the same
Secret jungle tip:
moving your camera to the top left of the screen will reveal a hidden, never before seen lane
S 6° 35' 9.3192", E 106° 46' 7.6224"
some random place in singapore, oo, spooky
Love the comments on wave push dynamics(?? Dont know how to describe)
As a support I need to know, how do I convince my teammates to not go for a play like dragon if I feel like we cannot or should not contest it or simply do not have the time to sneak it . This is my biggest obstacle
Whats the tool you use to draw in screen?
