Did you say you're dehydrating your starter?? You can do that?! 🤯 That is absolutely mind blowing to me. I feel like there are so many life skills I don't know. I wish I was as skilled as you are. You are so versatile. You can garden, hunt, can, cook, bake, do home projects, breed dogs...I'm 41 and I feel so incompetent compared to you. I can cook and bake somewhat, and I keep house well and do minor home improvements and a little gardening. But I don't do nearly what you do. I tried to make sourdough bread and it came out like a rock. I'm a dental hygienist by trade so I feel like most of my knowledge is about teeth, I wish my knowledge was more applicable to daily life like you. I just keep trying to learn, and I've learned ALOT from you over the past 5-6 years.
With almost every video, you cut into the finished product.. I REALLY wish you had done that with this bread. Thank you, though! I imagine it tastes every bit as good as it looks💛

Hi Linda I’m just wondering if you always have to put your sour dough bread in a Dutch oven to cook with a lid on in a 400-450 degree oven ? You dint show how you bake it . I’d like to be able to bake it without a Dutch oven . So I guess what I’m asking is can you bake it just in a loaf pan uncovered

Yes, dehydrate your starter or dry it. It becomes flakes to store for a longer time. Then just rehydrate it by feeding it.
