    I’m definitely gonna try this. This was a great idea. The only thing I would recommend is holding back some of the water in the initial mix because of the frozen jalapeño will carry a lot of of hydration.

      Every time I touch a jalapeño I always end up regretting it. 🤣 this method is so good because it flavors the entire bread. Hope you like it! ❤️

    Lord alive! That....looks....DIVINE! I am definitely going to try this one. Grating the frozen jalapeno is a genius idea. That would never occur to me to do that. And Jonathon messing about was hilarious! ❤

      Definitely try it! I honestly should have put more jalapeño in it because it wasn't spicy or anything. I just didn't know how spicy grating it would make the bread. Hopefully your bread making sorts itself out and the moisture in the air goes away. Haha I think we need to get a laser specifically for Calvin to chase and not use the one on the thermometer. 🤣🤣❤️❤️❤️

    That looks delicious I've never tried all-purpose flour before. I'll have to try that. I think Johnathan is thinking of Panera bread. Good job. Happy Memorial weekend. Love ya guys.

      I normally use all purpose flour because it's normally what I have on hand. I normally use the organic all purpose flour from trader joes or the king Arthur one. He might be thinking of Panera! Fun fact, Panera is called Saint Louis Bread Co here because it originated here....and then everywhere else, it's called Panera. Have a great Memorial weekend! Love you ❤️❤️

    This looks amazing. I'm definitely making this. How was the cheese? Too much? Too little? Just right? Was it distributed evenly throughout the loaf? Thanks for the vid.

      I think it was the perfect amount of cheese! I do like a lot of cheese in mine, but I've learned sometimes there can be too much of a good thing. 🤣 thanks for watching! ❤️

    Was the bread spicy?

    • @suburbansemihomestead
      @suburbansemihomestead  7 месяцев назад +1

      No, I don't think it was. It just had a subtle hint of jalapeño flavor but it wasn't spicy. But also maybe the jalapeño wasn't spicy. 🤷🏻‍♀️

    It's easier to measure your starter if you put it on the scale and zero it out. Then you can remove a bit at a time (the scale will start going negative) to get up to the amount you need instead of pouring it out and pouring out too much.
