Thanks Sophia, I am the only one in our house that eats poached eggs, so I decided to try to make only one for myself . I used an individual silicone muffin mould and put it in the simmering basket and steamed it for the same length of time you suggested and it came out great. Thank you!
Another great video, thanks so much! I love the Varaoma® version best since I prefer my eggs to be cooked a little firmer. Again, you made it looks easy. I’m trying this with your Hollandaise Sauce tomorrow! Wish me luck. 🤞
Thank you I did poached eggs today and they where a complete disaster the use of the silicone and varoma great idea will try this for breakfast tomorrow
Thanks.i love poached eggs. I will have to try this. I like the second way. My teen loves hard boiled eggs. I didn't think of using my tm6. But I will search and try that and omelette too.
Followed your second method and did 5 eggs in the varoma silicone muffin mold - they were very raw in the middle, not nicely poached. Kept trying in 30sec increments and gave up after an extra 4mins. Won't use this recipe again
Sophia, followed your introductions however eggs were far from cooked at 6 minutes, ended up taking 10 minutes. Nevertheless they were yummy and easy to make!
I'm a total beginner, I just got my thermomix and I would love to see how you set the cooking time in the screen. I don't really know how to so it other than just picking a recipe
Hi, I am not sure if after 4 months a reply is still valid, but I purchased my TM5 in UK two years ago; almost 1 year ago I moved to USA but I cannot use it because the voltage is different, so I will be compelled to sell it; I know that can be used in Europe with no issues. if interested we can agree on a fair price- my email is aidi75@hotmail.com- Thanks for your time.

I don't have a Thermomix yet. I didn't understand why you pre-boiled the water in a separate kettle rather than boiling the water in the Thermomix?
Can't find the silicone moulds on the website

congrats! What's the amount of water we put in the bowl?
Method 1 water should be below the basket or cover the eggs ? With 24 mins got quite Raw medium sized eco eggs
Hello this timing is for eggs from the fridge ? Or room temperature? I made with room temperature and they were too cooked 😢
Im thinking shave some minutes of the cooking time...
For the first method, the eggs are fully submerged in room temperature water, prior to turning on the machine?

All eggs are different sizes and consistencies. So glad you enjoyed!

How to buy silicone muffin /egg holder
When you says 70 degrees for the whole egg method, are you referring to Celsius or Fahrenheit??
Celcius
@@evolee82 no one uses fahrenheit in modern countries
@@SchibbiSchibbi I'm Australian so happy to concur
The poached egg menu in cookidoo failure for me
to make the 2 method eggs similar doneness I would do 5 minutes vs 6.

How much water for eggs in shell
Must be an australian thing but that is not what north americans call poached eggs. Those are soft boiled eggs. Poaching is not IN THE SHELL
Hello Sophia, how much is the Thermomix 5 and 6? Tq
I’m not an advisor so I’m not sure. Ask a local advisor in your area because the pricing changes based on country :)
@@sophiapeace It's all right. Could I know how much is it in your country? Tq for replying. :)

You are pregnant mem?
Lol that’s not poached eggs 🤣🤣
Okay second idea not bad
Who the fuck would pay thousands of dollars for this thing to boil eggs?!
It's obviously not the reason to purchase this device, but if you are lucky enough to own one it's just one of the thousands ways to use it. Duh😮
