When you prepare for a fight you have to have a real life situations and imitates a real fight during your sparring, that's how the best do to be ready mentally
Well, some fighters go for broke every sparring session... LITERALLY! I know people like that but I think its just preference. Some people like it fast pace, real hard gritty sparring sessions. Doghouse if you will.
Some sparring partners do get paid

Amari Jones from Antioch. I’m from Richmond and I been boxing for about 3 years and I’m 15 with no amateur fights yet. I sparred at his old gym on Tuesday, called double trouble. I hope I can go out there soon and spar with someone my size, I’m 114-116

It’s not devin lol,I was so focus on how beautiful the style was and how he was fighting I didn’t look at anything else but the hands and his footwork once later on in the fight I peep his hair and I was confused like huh this not devin😂
