- Jet boats, shallow water, and catfish. This was a perfect day on the water that the boys and I had. It is wonderful to see someone who is able to enjoy life and to be able to provide a meal. Once the garden comes in, you guys will enjoy fresh vegetables.
I’ve been jugging all my life and what I’ve found works all the time is Oscar Meyer Cheese hotdogs and only Oscar Meyer cheese hotdogs. You cut the hotdogs into 4 and let them sit out after cut for a day or 2. They smell bad but work like a charm.
Also cut the tail off and let them bleed out taste way better

Lived up in Fort Worth for a while, back home now in South East Texas. Loved that Brazos River, just about the best thing about that area.

Jet boat outing to catch some catfish & cook them up on shore for a lunch & then go back out & catch some more!! I would really like to see a flat head catch & cook on the shore!! Out of anyone on RUclips, your prolly my top favorite along with the Googan Squad. Keep the videos coming and you should try marinading some meat in Allegro. Amazing stuff you can get at HEB, I use it all the time. Look forward to the next catch clean and cook!!!!

Try marinading it in the Italian dressing overnight, I've heard that it's supposed to be great with both chicken and fish

Devon, overnight might make fish spongy but it certainly works great for pork chops and steak.

I’d love to know some fishing spots on the Brazos river launching from Brazos Park East or FlatRock at the lake. Not your secret spots just a spot I can fish at and catch a few catfish for dinner. I love fishing but I’m not good at it.

I caught a good 25 pound Flathead today on rod and reel cut bluegill
Easiest was to chop onions if you’re like me and like bigger pieces. Get a apple slicer. We use that to make a poor mans blooming onion too.

When this whole COVID19 drama is over, go to Cape Town, South Africa and catch ocean fish and do a catch, clean and cook for us -- (for me) (^_^)
Looks like an awesome time! Not sure it would be good with fish but maybe give it a try. Last year I started putting Italian dressing and chicken in a vacuum bag. Sealing it and either leaving it in the fridge or freezer. Bar none the best Italian dressing seasoned food ever.

I love deep fried catfish fillets, but I love em 10X better since I started bleeding them out. While on the stringer, cut the tails off and throw em back in the water. Wait 5 minutes, then fillet em. You’ll notice much whiter, cleaner meat and they taste so much better!
Nothing biting up in Iowa I've fought the 30 and 40 degree temps and wind and rain everyday this week. Not even a nibble.

I have a recipe you have to try on your catfish You can Cut it up or leave the whole But them in a container or if you cut it up into nugent's You use a gallon ziploc bag But cover them in French's mustard And put it in the refrigerator over night Don't know what batter ya'll We use The Fish fry Batter You can batter them and drop 'em in the friar It is amazing I hope to see it in one of your videos Like you always say Eat good
