This is great ...I have got this working for different delays and a volume gain with one of the delays.....I'm wondering iff you know a way of altering the pedal parameters ....usually I touch the footswitch and then I can alter but with all 3 FX I can only seem to access one unless I go back into signal flow
Thanks for this. Helpful. In effect this is what the snapshots do (switch on/off multiple effects)....but I like your method as you can assign multiple changes just to the 3 foot switches at at front of the HX.....which I find by far the easiest to press accurately mid playing/singing. Thanks again.
Glad it was helpful! Snapshots allow you to change every single parameter including on/off status of every block. They are so powerful. I like „my“ approach because I don’t ever need to leave Stomp view to go to Snapshots view. I like to keep things simple for myself :-) Keep on rockin!
Thanks for your question. The LED will always be either on or off. You can change the state in which it is on or off just by starting out with the effects in the correct state (the state you want). EG let's say you want distortion to be ON and delay OFF when the light is off, and the opposite when the light is on. Just start out by setting them that way, and assign each one to the footswitch when it is in the state that you want it to be. If you play around a bit, you will get it. Took me a while myself 🙂 By the way, if you are changing many things this way via footswitches, it might be time to start exploring Snapshots, they are the Game Changer.
@@patgiff101055 Patrick hello. so when I hit my preset button all effects turn on while at the same time, my amp changes over to channel 3 via MiDi. so my question is " How can I just change the amp to channel 2 and still keep the same effects while in the same preset ???? thank you
@@theRodofwar hi Rod. There are 2 ways to do this that I know of. 1) go into Command Center and assign a footswitch to send either PC or CC as required to switch your amp to channel 2. nothing else in your preset will change. But if you want to switch back to channel 3 after that you will need another footswitch to send the Command for that. With these 2 footswitches you could go back and forth between channels 2 and 3. 2) create a 2nd snapshot within that preset and when that snapshot is selected send an INSTANT Command with the PC or CC needed for channel 2. again, nothing else will change unless you set up parameter changes via that snapshot. Personally I don’t use snapshots much anymore ( except for testing purposes eg stepping through different gain levels on my amp via MIDI using 4 snapshots per channel) Hope this helps- since I don’t know how your amp works it will either need a PC or a CC but in either case that is set up in Command Center.
@@patgiff101055 hey Patrick. so for the past hour and a half I've been trying to figure it out. NO AVAIL !!!!!!!!!!! Getting very Frustrated now anyway, if you can help me figure it out I would gladly donate a little something toward your channel. thank you for your time
It'd be great to have a couple of effects saved to a switch to save switches, but not necessarily if one is present even when the button is off. Or maybe I'm misunderstanding
Absolutely! As I mention in the video you put the effect into the state you want it to be in. Then when you step on the footswitch it toggles to the opposite state, regardless which state that is (there are only 2 possibilities 😊) So just like one is on and the other one is off in my example- turn *both* of them to on or off - then when you step on the footswitch both of them will toggle to the other state - on/off.
@@patgiff101055 Totally. I get that. I’m saying can both be turned out so that neither are active? In your video they just toggle back and forth, can they both be bypassed? Maybe I’m still misunderstanding

Great for A/B’ing pedal models and outboard gear !!!

Another great little trick!
Is possible to make the LED light change color when pressed instead of turning off?
