He couls have sent a letter to explain his reason for backing off, to tell her he had believed her the whole time and it was his plan. Instead he let her feel betrayed while he suffered watching her. His pain was nothing compared to hers. I would have forgiven but still walked away bc he made a bad choice. He could have found a way to let her know. Instead he didn't.

I've seen the future episodes and i'm not really technically pleased but karma does hit home. The ending is sad but in my heart I have no pity for that kitty. I feel bad for FL though. Being the palace whipping boy and having your friends taken from you and you are tortured close to death and your head is on the chopping block a few times? Not forgiving someone because they had you beaten is not being immature. Weiyoung is not his daughter and you can't compare the love of a mother for her daughter to the love a man holds for a woman. If anything, your comment is only showing that you yourself are stupid and immature for insulting people for having a very normal reaction for an unjust punishment. Shows like these are only able to go forward because no one has any common sense; a blind person could see how much love he still has for Weiyoung- otherwise, she would already be dead for the crime of killing his mother. No one would actually be fooled by such a display. Also, remember that you're speaking about fictional people in an over-dramatized show before you go insulting actual people for their justified feelings. Also, him loving her and hurting her for her own good doesn't change the fact that he still hurt her emotionally and physically and she literally has no reason to trust him after everything he allowed to happen. If anything, her taking him back and her love for him not wavering is the most unrealistic part of this drama and that's saying something.
