Maybe you could talk Myles into a compromise on running the ac in the living room. Suggest to run it from 1100-1800. 92 is to hot for me. When we visit the family house in E. Samar it’s like being in the engine room of an old destroyer. No ac and a minimal amount of fans. We usually buy a standing fan for the room we sleep in under netting and just leave it their.
Just curious, what temp you set your ac at? If a little warmer it uses less electricity. You can probably find a happy medium. I prefer fans, except for running it for an hour, or two when i go to bed.

That is the compromise. The bedroom and office is aircon territory lol. I can live with that lol

temp is set at 74 F
