You have a nice house. I love Myles' garden, especially her plants/flowers. I note many homes in the Philippines have fencing around them. Is that just for safety or are there other reasons??? It seems to me that most of the nice Philippine neighborhoods don't have an issue with crime generally speaking, so it makes me wonder. I think it would be difficult for me to be "fenced in", but I suppose one does adjust eventually.... I do think overall I would enjoy living in the Philippines. I hope someday I can! 😊

Do you rent the house or? I like your generator, is solar a consideration? Have you looked into it? I don't like brownouts and low water pressure. My wife is from Zamboanga, always brownouts. Hoping to make my way over to the PI and search for the perfect spot. So many places to explore. I am enjoying your channel and your laidback lifestyle.

Retirement looks slow around those parts. I've looked through a lot of your vids and you don't break the city limits to much. I suppose that's what I'm destined to also. Less then two years out and I'll join the ranks of expats searching for something. Not sure I can do in the small places, though it might be fun to just sit on the porch. Perhaps Iloilo? Any thoughts? Oh, love the Selecta store, I'd be hitting the urbe and cheese really hard....

Drama free is the way to be. I've seen a couple other American men living in the Philippines channels and I had to quickly turn them off because they weren't worth watching. That's putting it nicely. You have an absolute gem of a wife in Myles. She's ladylike and a great homemaker. I love how she helps keeps your home and kitchen clean. Love your channel.

I Googled your question regarding your TV & this is what it says. I believe the back light on a TV goes bad do to to much dry heat especially for TV that's been on constantly 24/7 and there's more than one back light. It has a few led light strips. Your repairman probably only replaced the actual burned out led. And not a complete light strip.✌️❤️
