This color is phenomenal. I am still struggling with mixing colors. I love how you have the basic colors and make every color out there lol

thanks Jennifer! I love this shade too! It just takes some time and practice but it can help looking at a color wheel and using that as a jumping point. Food coloring is a bit different than paints, especially purples and browns but once you get the hang of how they perform it can be pretty easy to make just about any shade with a basic set of colors. I mostly do it because it's more cost effective and easier to inventory but when I'm teaching it also makes it easier for the students since having those same basic colors will allow you to follow along with all of our videos! Keep at and you'll get there.

Thank you, you always make me feel better about making mistakes. I will keep trying and not over saturating my colors. It’s hard to just try a little at a time. 🙃

I know the temptation of just going for it very well! I've made my share of oversaturated or just plain off colors. I still on occasion have ooppsies that go in unexpected directions or develop differently than I think they will. It happens to all of us so just know you are in good company and every mistake we make gives us some new information to add to our personal body of knowledge. I have a very long list of things not to do after two decades! lol. Just keep in mind that we can learn as much from our mistakes as we can from our successes and keep going. ❤️

@@CakeDecoratingSchool Thany you! You always are such a positive inspiration. I will have to agree I do learn more from mistakes. Happy little learning experiences 😀. I have had to walk away for a bit. And then start again. Especially no matter what color you seem to be going for ends up muddy 🙄
