I colored at 8 months too, again at 13 months and the last time was 18 months. I go to a stylist but I also keep a box at home for emergencies lol. My goal is to only dye 3-4 times a year. Your hair will be just fine, I’ve also dyed mine from time to time, you just need to make sure that you keep it nice and moisturized to prevent damage 😊

Dying your locks make them loc faster. I just dyed my 3rd set golden blonde no bleach. Threw a cellophane on top. I'm 5 months loc'd Love it! Yours are super cute.

You know what, truthfully, going into this video I didn't think there would be a noticeable change but once you rinsed and oiled your locs, I can DEFINITELY see the difference. I absolutely love it!❤❤❤

Hi Trina =) Thanks for commenting, however I disagree. hair color fades, especially darker colors. It is not necessarily an indicator of excessive washing =)

I actually want to try henna too. I don't like using products with certain chemicals on my hair. This is probably the last time I will do this.

No problem! I actually do mine the day after shampooing so my hair is clean, but dry.

For me the black looks really good for about 2-6 months. After about 6 months I notice the color fading.
