Your hair looks great!!! Just an FYI though, whenever you use a color that requires developer, you are penetrating the cuticle in order to deposit the color. So you have lifted your hair, but fortunately, only 2 levels. Just keep that in mind for whenever you color in the future. If you do not want lift, you'll want to go with a rinse, semi permanent and I wouldn't even go toward a demi. ❤
So if I want to dye my hair blue black what color/brand would you suggest and from what store? Because I have had my fair share of having to cut my locs due to bleach damage and I was so heart breaking and lost my confidence so I don’t want ANYTHING that could possibly damage my hair again love. Any suggestions will help.
@mzbutterflytn Going darker is easier in regards to maintaining the health of the hair because you can use a rinse. I have only worked with Paul Mitchell so I can't recommend anything specific but as far as a rinse goes, you can visit your local Sally's or a similar store. Look for temporary hair color or rinse. This color will not last as long because it is only coating the hair, however, as it wears away, you can reapply it. This is the best option if you're doing it at home and have a history of damage. 🙏🏾

Hey babe. I wanna know, would you recommend me dying my hair black 5 months into my loc journey? Usually when its wash day I section them with braids so they don't unravel. They on a budding phase now so I'm seeing less two strand twist and they locking. So before I interlock them again, I wanna dye them first.
After coloring did you shampoo your hair with neutralizing shampoo? I saw something that said you shouldn't wash for 72 hours after coloring.
