3:41 out of curiosity, I tried that one myself using a tablet; and rather than not projecting anything, it ...did... project an image, although a very very DIM one. The tablet also had to be positioned at just the right distance from the maginfier to get the image to show up and not be blurry.
Yea it does work with a phone but what I have isn't made rather my wife bought it for me . It's cardboard and it has a slot door that u pull down and put ur phone in it and close and it's in the right position but the magnifying glass isn't single lens it's two or three but u have to have it pitch dark to work any good .
The most ridiculously annoying ones for me are the flat iron popcorn and the bottle cap orange...
The cardboard hand can make a cool cosplay/Halloween costume with the right measurements and material though, and it's not a lifehack IMO. Just a fun craft to make and learn with kids.

I know this is old but...
The drill would've died him getting shocked would've shocked me! I'm willing to bet its no more than 3.8volts and probably low current. Plus, it its an Electrically Isolated piece of equipment, Hence no grounding. I mean is the water going to get into the battery or something and if that is the case do battery's not work in water? The unit would run in the water because it's a motor and motors don't use electricity they convert electricity. No different than the sauce in the cup. The sauce would still have been conductive enough for current to travel and deliver a shock, no water needed! People assuming when something electrical gets wet your going to be shocked or electrocuted by that is not always the case! Plus he holding it with one hand which decreases the risk, the cup is porcelain ( ceramic) and ceramic is used to make resistors why because it's high inability to conduct/transferee electrons! I could go on and on and on however; in theory yes he could've been shocked under the right conditions a AA battery can electrocute a person ( death) No coming back from Electrocutions!
At the risk of looking as though I’m defending these videos, the “watermelon chicken” abomination might have worked a tad better had you used either a Cornish hen for the seedless melon you had, or an actual full sized watermelon for the chicken you got.

The Real question Is, do you really want to know, how tastes a watermelon flawored chicken? He did it by following the recipe... Only the melon works as a leafs in outdoor cooking. To make the chicken not dry, you season it, pack it in leafs and than cooking alufoil...
Yea the point to the watermelon is to use it to keep the chicken moist so u need one big enough to fit then entire chicken in and put the lid on. No clue how the flavor of the chicken is or even if the watermelon adds much flavor to it but if done right it would work .
Why even bother? Watermelon flavoured chicken is disgusting, All you're doing is wasting a good watermelon and creating Alot of mess to clean up

The one life hack with the homemade projector actually works. It's just a little more complicated than placing a phone in a shoe box with a lens at the end, also the imagine will be flipped due to... Well how lenses work. There are advanced phone projector tutorials that use mirrors placed at a specific angle to flip the image to correct this problem and if you aren't looking to make a phone projector, but wanna test out the idea. Just hold a magnifying glass in front of your phone with max brightness in a low light setting and you should see it be projected onto a wall or where you're pointing it at.

I actually tried the magnifying glass projector. It worked, but I had to use a very powerful magnifying glass.
I did the cardboard hand thing a few years ago (it was even the same video) and I found it so amusing, that with a few adjustments, I made a big cardboard monkey hand for a party. It didn't look the best, but I still had a load of fun with it. Only the strings became a bit of a pain after some time of using it. If you ever try this on a bigger scale I recommend using either a fluffier string or a completely different method of moving the fingers.
Or tie plastic rings onto the end of the strings and slip your fingers through them.

3:51 ive tried this too! it works but only for short distances. your projector would need to be like 20 cm away from the wall! and for me the only good results i got was with photos! so it works decently but theres no comparison with the actual deal

I tried this one out too to see if it actually worked. Although i got it to pop the kernels into popcorn it isn't as good as putting a bag of popcorn kernels in the microwave or buying a bag of popcorn from somewhere
I once had my friend suggest a way to fix my head ache, and they didn't tell me. I was sat on my couch, then blacked out. Door latches usually have a smaller section that locks the rest of the latch out when pressed in by the door striker so this probably won't work anyway. It might work on cheap interior doors without a lock.

For the corn one,you need hard corn to do it, so when you tried the popcorn hack, you need a hard corn not a regular corn, so if you used the wrong corn when a part 2 comes out retried it.
The cloth iron and hair dryer combo to cook pizza slices do work if the hair dryer is replaced by a "heat gun" that look similar to the hair dryer but is made for industrial purposes that do not involve hair on its use... but more to soften polycarbonate plastics, removing certain types of painting on metal, pre-heat circuit boards befor soldering/unsoldering components and applying electric shrink-tubes to electric wires... that thing can reach 550°c (1022°f), enough to makes your pizza catch fire (and even its surrounding) if not caucious when manipulating that powerfull tool... HANDLE HEAT GUNS WITH PRECAUTION AND FAR FROM ANY FLAMABLE MATERIALS!!!
The master key card is pretty effective when the card is plasticized though and you don't need to cut anything out of it. It can help you a lot at those moments when the main door is closed by a heavy wind or when you somehow forgot your keys, or any other similar accidental event. Saves you the hassle to contact a locksmith.
Idk man but first i think not every door has same mechanism,
For mine, my door has 2 lock mechanism
the first only need to turn the handle to unlock the door (like the majority of door, and true it can be unlocked using card becuase there some slopes on the iron that hold the door, but like *be Amazed* said you can just turn the handle)
And the second need you to use key to unlock/lock it. For my key lock it cant be picked using any card, because the iron that used for lock the door is pierces my door frame and there is no slope on the iron

The hack it to doors that only open from one side. The handle can move in one side of the door but the other it does not or even if it moves it does no work.

7:38 Oh we actually had to make one of those for a seventh grade project! All of my friends and I managed to make one, with varying agrees of success, but we all managed to do it. It is pointless, but we were learning about joints and things like that. At least we made it. It was even kind of fun!

From what I heard, the watermelon one is actually supposed to keep it succulent, and you don't actually need to use that much glaze as the one I saw it from didn't do that, also you can definitely get bigger watermelons then that tiny thing, I know of a place that has such big ones that you could bake a giant turkey in them... That said, it's pretty pointless even when done properly, as the person who did this also wanted to try it out and wasn't someone promoting the option, and he didn't really like what came out either, but for a different reason then this.
Yeah, I have seen and handled watermelons at least 4 times the size of the one in this video.

I’ve done the cardboard arm before. I do agree that you cannot use it for much, but it is a fun project to try, but instead of tying knots around your fingers, use plastic rings or tiny rubber bands.

Got a buddy who works in cell phone repairs. Mine wasn't charging worth crap and had him take a look at it, he told me it was pocket lint in the charge port, I argued of course because I've never seen lint in the port nor do I find much (if any) in my pockets. He pulled out a paper clip and started to drag it around inside the charge port, or course I got super nervous but him being the brother of my new girlfriend at the time, wanting to make a good impression, and me figuring he does this for a living stayed me from taking it back. He was right of course and I've had no issues since. I can see that first one working if you know what your doing and honestly it doesn't look like the maker of the video took ANY time to fix up or really attach the cotton in the first place.
For the second I would say it depends on the orange you use some have harder rinds and would mean you need to push much harder to get any amount of orange juice. This may be why they saw such vast differenced in amounts (not that I would recommend this one ever).
The third... Well I'm a locksmith and when I can't pick a lock and have been forbidden from drilling it, I use a prybar. I can open any lock in under five minutes, I've done everything from safes to bolts with frames from drywall to steel. Never have I ever failed to open a lock and my trusty screwdriver with a pry on the end while not my first tool of choice easily has opened as many locks as my picks and is almost identical in how I use it to the card method. The issues of course with using a card in this manner are abundant (depending on cut lines weakening the pull such as you can see in the video from his break, to cutting to much or to little from the edge of the card making it hard to fit, to straight out having to stiff a lock to do this with) but it's still definitely possible.
For the pizza one I will refer you to grade six science class, where for school we learned that if you have a large open area then heat will not build up as fast as it dissipates. Without knowing what those blocks were I would argue it's possible, the creator of this video did nothing to conserve heat and in fact used water bottles to prop up his iron, water being one of the biggest dissipaters of heat iirc, and attempted to cook and entire pizza while it looks like they were warming one slice. Big difference between cooking a pizza and warming a precooked slice.
Flat out doesn't actually test the cup cleaning device, while I agree it wont clean the bottom as is, if I put ketchup all over my desk and smoosh it around with a dry cloth it's certainly not going to become clean magically. Telling us you wont test it as your afraid of getting an electric shock is kind of fair but having used this type of drill the chance is extremely low not to mention there isn't enough power in the battery to do anything, at most your going to fry the drill. Why even bother claiming you tried it
For the cardboard hand... It's cardboard... What did you expect? Honestly. Though a lot of people make a lot of money making these types of prosthetic hands for movie and costume props, I have a buddy who made one out of rubber camp mat foam for his giant robot costume that was pretty cool. That all aside though the positioning of that bend in the cardboard right behind your hand is a lovely choice of places to put it. I've seen these made well enough to hold up for a little while and some strong enough to actually hold minor things in them.
With the watermelon it honestly looks like the op got a tiny watermelon, apparently that's the size they are where he is but here they are easily two to three times that size, it makes me wonder if he got a chicken to big and a watermelon to small on purpose like most of the rest of the video he appears to be half assing everything. This one to the point of absurdity to. Fact is you don't make a jar of jam with a single crab apple either but he wants us to believe this is a thing of some sort? Like it was actually tried?
Honestly the rest of this video either I don't know enough about the topics or it left me wondering why. While I don't disagree that these are terrible life hacks I wouldn't write them off either without more information. This entire video reeks of click bait. Especially given the fact that it JUST passes RUclipss length restrictions for monetary videos.
TLDR: Video reeks of clickbait, things aren't tested to any degree of accuracy or have been chosen because they are just plain stupid. All IMO of course.
As stupid as internet life hacks can be I’ve actually opened locked security doors with nylon packing tape several times over the years. Fun fact a plastic credit card can also work to open locked doors but like packing tape there is a certain amount of skill involved.
