Sort of agree but not sure he’ll ever top 2006-7. Supposedly he was getting burned out and ready to quit for you’d never know it watching those shows. Truly amazing. He’s more chill now but still the greatest ever
I am very glad that Flea, Chad and Anthony have already crossed the mark of 60 and still have not lost all their energy, which they always knew how to surprise the audience with. I hope they will still be jumping on stage until their 90.
Geezus, Mary and Joseph!!! My Soul just sails when Johnny’s on the Six Strng!!! WHAT... A... FUCKING... RIDE... THAT... WAS!!! Trickfinger, turn the tides, the Gods are calling.
Having John come back was amazing. We lost so many to drugs. One of my favorite bands is/was Blind Melon. Lead singer died of overdose. I got into Grateful Dead right before Jerry died. Of course we all know the 27 Club with Morrison, Hendrix and Janis Joplin. So its healing to have John come back and seeming to be happy about it. I bet Anthony wants less jamming but i think they need more!!!!! Let the funk loose!!!! Even if its half the show. As long as it goes somewhere and not totally senseless lol.
I was so happy to see them during their Stadium Arcadium tour as a teenager & to see them last year & currently is such a treat. I will always love John Frusciente RHCP the best. They do need to get Josh back & use him like they did in the mid 2000’s though.
Had to stop it to say thx so much!!!!!!! I am a guitar fanatic (i personally suck) since i was a little kid. Rode my bike in the rain up a hill both ways during a blizzard heat wave to get a Jimi Hendrix Greatest Hits cassette tape. Ok i embellished the weather part but it sprinkled on the way home. Late 80s, i liked them since i was 15. Saw them 2 or 3 times, i think 2. First one was Lollapalooze '92 near Toronto and John was dope sick so Pat Smears (joined Foo Fighters) filled in. He was actually really good. He played with Nirvana and other bands until Foo Fighters popped up. Great guy. Anyways thx.
The first minutes of the first track reminded me of The Cream (Jack Bruce, Ginger Baker and Eric Clapton) but updated to the 21st century (Flea, Chad and John Frusciante).
It's saddens me how underrated John is among his peers and the public. I know the man has had a terrible battle with drugs and mental health. More then half of the greatest artist, writers, poets, musicians, actors, and scientists throughout history suffered from mental health issues and addiction. Yet they still get their credit. John can play several musical instruments well, he has a beautiful voice, and he writes beautifully but most of his public persona is about heroin addiction and his mistakes. Edgar Allan Poe is talked about as crazy man but still a genius. Poe still gets his credit as he should, just saying.
Love this man, love this band… not in a gay way (max and paddy ref). Went to 3 shows this year, Tottenham, London blew me away… spiritual moments were had!
@@florian5560 ..... Really? I mean ive got scars too and this is the first I've heard of gel pads for hydration being a thing... I thought they were wrapping to help against muscle cramping and tightness. Which hydration works against as well.. just never heard of that 🤷 I'm Legit curious
@@elijahshanor2178 it’s not just a few scars-John has skin grafts on 90% of his arms. When you get older, grafts are very prone to drying out or splitting, and I think those pads are meant to keep that from happening.
Se escuchan de lo mejor ♥ RHCP FOREVER !¡!¡!¡!¡
🎸❤🙌
I don't remember the last time Frusciante sounded this technical and clean. He's never been better imho
2007 :)
@@gtube1477 I'd say he's better now, or plays more clean than he did then.
💯

And even better than jumping around (although that's not a Bad thing), their playing and singing is top notch. ;-) .
I love it when Chad, flea, John are jamming out in a solo and Anthony is just dancing like crazy
So happy I seen RHCP first time Chicago 2022. I’m 62 and these guys absolutely killed it !!
Favorite guitar player.

Holy fuck Balls this is amazing from beginning to end. Pure magic 💋
First time I got to see live was this Aug 2022 still mind blowing into their 50s and 60s

Slane Castel live het allerbeste concert altijd
Which show was this?
He’s still the best living guitarist but I do miss 2006-7 John. So much more funk/Jimi Hendrix style of playing. Less noodling and hammer ons.
🤯🤯
Фрущ найкращий!
what are all these bandages for?
they’re silicon gel pads to keep the scars on his arms hydrated

Among the worst tone in all of guitar music
I was there!
Where did this show take place?
Me too... it was magical. I went both weekends
