This man Kalonzo is a good man, however, in terms of political leadership or propelling to the house on the hill, in my view, he lacks key skills to navigate up the ladder. He might do better than some presidents but on his own without leaning on anyone, he doesn't possess the wherewithal to make to presidency. Kalonzo is not decisive and principled in my honest view. The watermelon tag didn't hit him from imagination but lack of bold stands. Secondly, Kalonzo doesn't like spending freely to crisscross the country to sell his manifesto. He likes milling around Eastern(Kamba land) just like Mudavadi is for 1/2 of Western. A presidential material is made of thick skin, bold and well resourced spender with ingenious counter offensive tactics like Ruto. Politics is as murky as it is skunky at times. Kalonzo the God fearing cannot concisely manoeuvre ingenious propaganda which is capitalised with 75% lies, 25% truth. These are the tenets that propelled Ruto to statehouse. The gift of the sweetest tongue with massive resources that he doesn't fear spending every each way.
Kalonzo is at precarious position away from Raila and compromised if he stays with RAO for relevance sake. Some may call it a catch 22!!
If Kalonzo stands boldly and seriously this time he has my vote.

Kalonzo should learn from what the mountain did to him after kibaki left. He was best placed outsider to get their votes but rather they went for ruto. Politics is about results and not too many stories that add zero value, for 2027 they will have their own candidate and leave kalonzo kwa mataa. He should be careful from being pushed to antagonize raila's base because many still have a soft spot for him in spite of raila's decisions. He could get more votes from that base than the mountain which will certainly have their own candidate

Hon Stephen Kalonzo is a former vice President in the Republic of Kenya. He was Vice President when that office was most powerful with all the privileges that goes along with it.These days ,the office is just ceremonial and the privileges have been reduced.Infact according to how i look at things.He needs call himself to closed door meeting with himself that the rules of the game to get job at Hill is not in his favor. All factors when kept constant,he cannot manage the intense pressure required for campaigning for the Big office.He is not himself. He does have the confidence to articulate his views unless he accompanied by close friends or colleagues in some form of conferences or hotel meetings or wiper headquarters. Kenya has 55 Millions people and you cannot expect to felt when he cannot get out his familier comfort zone.
Remember when maanzo and kalonzo away with quarter half of orange party during 2007 election, raila is not stupid 😅
I feel sorry for Kalonzo, trying to drag uhuru's name in his quest for presidency will never help him because he will be repeating the mistakes RAILA did during last general election.
If UHURU couldn't deliver presidency to RAILA while in power can he do it for Kalonzo while RUTO is holding the powers!!!
