"Politics is capricious. The first rule of joining politics is saying goodbye to the TRUTH".

This is one of the best interviews I have ever watched this month
Lee Njiru, Eric and Muga .....thank you for that intriguing interview. Well structured, informative, balanced and most definitely full of so much wisdom within words for the current political cabal to learn or lose from. The time of Ceaser was drawn in the sand, and so it became. Humility and other virtues of leadership must be espoused to ensure continuity and rid cowardice from those to whom responsibility is given.
Please bring Lee back for more. Indeed there is a lot that is contained in African proverbs from days of yonder.
How is this man's brain so brilliant at this age? Just wow!
Amazing!
Comparing with young dander heads we have in high positions today
(Old age politics) Lee you can not lie tody without being known.
-great man of wisdom
These are the kind of people that should grace studios for interviews. I love people of this caliber. People who speak truth without fear of contradiction. Great job guys on this interview. It was so educative and worthwhile.
The time I interacted with Lee Njiru - extremelly shrew, extremelly intelligent!
Thanks for hosting Lee Njiru. He is very Knowledgeable 🎉❤
Splendid listening to Lee Njiru. Must commend Lee Njiru for his wisdom. The man is very informed. Without appearing to use a cliché, Lee Njiru is an National Encyclopaedia. His choice of words and style of talking is very captivating and nice to listen to. Mr. Lee Njiru was a loyal Press Secretary. To Mzee Jomo Kenyatta and Daniel Arap Moi. I learned from Lee Njiru in the past years that Mzee Jomo Kenyatta had two important friends: Kamuzu Banda of Malawi and Josip Broz Tito of Former Yugoslavia. Why Kenyatta and Tito were particularly big friends can be seen in the Wars that led to the disintegration of of Yugoslavia and why 10 years later, Kenya nearly collapsed as a Nation with the post-election violence of 2007/2008. You only get such information from Mr. Lee Njiru. Quote of teh day fro Mr. Lee Njiru today: "The patience of GENZIS is NOT endlessly elastic."
This is probably the best guest you've had on your show
the leaders this man advised were really lucky to have him as an advisor
I never knew this guy had that much wisdom, throughout moi's era i had so much hate and desdain for him just like all moi's era syhocants , but I've come to realize that people can have their own ground to stand on despite what
Wisdom used to do evil.... is that wisdom or wit /shrewd? Aki I can't even get to listen to him🙈 let me pass this one
Fake Wisdom. Too much terror/anguish was spread by these so-called sages (henchmen), their daily lying, deceitful and poisonous pens/typewriters and their bosses. "The green, green, grass of home' is but a facade of the so called 'golden (truly ungolden) t/error' Moi days. On political affiliations... cannot stand this 'all knowing' not it all cash for my memoirs greedy fellow and his thieving, cunning lot 😢!
Isn’t he Moi’s son? “ bastard child”
😅😅

Lee Njiru oozing wisdom. I wish Ruto had such men around him.
But you're the same people who complain when such people are appointed back to the gov't
Ruto is allergic to clever people
But didn't Moi have him for decades? Was Moi great?
Looking back, I think Moi was much better @@MegaOLUOCH

Too much wisdom.
I have had the pleasure of sitting down over a cup of tea with this gentleman! He is Gold! His book available on line ?!
This was a BEAUTIFUL conversation! Am sad it was so short 😢.
You possess serious wisdom Lee Njiru! now I clearly understand the Late President Moi's powerful leadership philosophy which saw him in power for so many years, in spite of his title "Mtukufu" as well as his party's auditory marketing song "KANU ya Jenga nchi" curtain raiser in all daily news broadcasts dominating all citizens.
Lee njiru is giving wisdom on how politicians work and there advisers.
Oozing wisdom
Wisdom wisdom wisdom❤
Epic session...
He speaks so well. Wisdom beyond.
Lee Njiru was on fire! 🔥
I met him in Nakuru and I had I had to greet this great man.
Aman full of wisdom...
Very wise man....i like that
A very interesting conversation with Lee. I especially like the areas where he brings out the best of Moi because many people perceived him as a beast and tyrant (am not his apologist though). We need more engagement with him and it's good you've invited him again.
Great conversation..
Lee Njiru is so infomed and widely read espcially on matters to do with politics and political leadership. This is a man i would like to listen to and learn from like on a fortnightly basis.
Power and fortune is a dangerous combination.
I really appreciate Mr. Lee sobriety and understanding of the state of affairs in the Country.
I wish leaders were going for wisdom words.
As a safety specialist trained abroad in comparison with what is going on in this country is a disaster in waiting. Schools are burned everyday. Road traffic accidents are happening everyday solution is there but leaders seem not to understand or even care money is wasted everyday.
In terms of education CBC which was borrowed abroad, from people who have different cultures and implement rest assured it will truggle to work here. Even though is good thing, the country's leadership structures dotes not accommodate innovation and new Idea. It will never even work in Kenya because of our bad cultures.
Currently we are wallowing in failures, we shall never improve and we have engaged in reverse gear when other countries are going forward. How can we have the country losing 600 billion on corruptions and keep borrowing? There is no logic at all.
😢😢😢😢
Bring him back to talk to us .lee Njiru has much wisdom for us .
Much respect Oldman.
Very well explained by Lee njiru on working during the times of Former President Jomo kenyatta and Nyayo.
Did I hear one of Moi's advicer was Philomen Cheragat who was my classmate at Chepteret Seconday Schoolin 1964???
I now understand why H.E Moi stuck with this guy throughout his life. He is brilliant 😊
I’m still on the legs joke 😂
