@Fuzzlike11 You're correct. Mats Öberg of Mats & Morgan band is completely blind. But both Morgan and Mats have over the years been involved in lots of side projects. Check out Kaipa, it's one of Morgan's recent gigs. I think they put out an album quite recently, couple of years back maybe..
I just don't understand this drumming. I love Morgen Agrens drumming in other projects so I'll just admit defeat and assume that this is musically beyond me and I will appreciate it in future.
He is soloing over the form and the theme you heard at the beginning like in jazz , don’t expect to hear just licks , hear the piece in your head and contrast it with the drums
@hydrOstem mmm no... Thomas haake is the drummer of meshuggah Ågren plays in Mats & Morgan band Btw ( its Like super spacey psychedelic progressive electrical shit, i think one or both of the keyboard players is blind, anyway its pritty awesome)
I’m pretty sure you are misunderstanding , she’s just listening to the solo the way it is supposed to, while heart in the form in her head , that’s why he is noding, I know you wanna see the hippie drummed versus the classical musician , but I can guarantee you it’s not like that at all
A tribute to Zappa in Jerusalem, 1997 or so, with Ike Willis (who introduces him at the start), and some other Zappa alumni, I think. They appear to be playing Waka Jawaka.

@rolpo2222 He is playing the drums on Thordendahl´s "Sol Niger Within", which is, of course, a solo-project, but can also be seen as a band, I guess.
it doesn't get any better
Awesome :D
:) fuck! he is singing on the drums
\m/ \m/
I wonder if those people in the orchestra had any idea how good he really is.

agren and haake are the ducks nuts at drumming
Anyone know who the electric bassist is? Or are there multiple?
@Putrefraction Which band is that? He 's not the drummer of Meshuggah, if that's what you meant.
@Putrefraction i'm pretty sure zappa is a god to most tech metal guys
what concert is that from. Actualy, solo sounds some sort of variation on the Black Page theme.
