@@jonasthemovieWhen Fredrik Thordendahl wants to make a solo album he calls Morgan (and lets Haake do the voice) 😊 (LOVE Haake btw and Morgan couldn't do all he does as good - but Morgan is def more versatile!)
It's from a Swedish TV show called Trum that aired about 10 years or so ago. If you search for "Morgan Ågren Trum" you should find full episodes here on RUclips. It's mostly talking, drum lessons and record tips so not sure how useful that is if you don't speak Swedish, but every episode has one or more live performances.
Actually, the majority of the short episodes was always the live performances and some of the talking was Morgan showing vinyls from his favorite inspirations. All this though being an educational show at public service TV. But Morgan was free to fill it with whatever he liked to 😊

Mats and Morgan play the music the teacher tells you not to, the silly noises that put a big fucking grin on your face and I love it. It's not popular stuff, it's not following a standard musical formula... they're just having a blast, I suspect they'd be at home doing it even if nobody else cared to listen.
To me these guys simply define "ahead of the curve". Just seems to me that scandinavians are always pushing it a step further... Just take bands like Meshuggah for example (or even The Cardigans hahahah) Excellent and inspiring! Thank you Mr Zappa would have been so proud!
I get shivers down my spine every time I hear this. Mats' style is insane and he's hilarious to watch. Lifting up his shirt during the scream, rofl. And Morgan Agren blows my mind as well. So intense I just want to close the damn video! But it's too good!

What an incredible performance. Now would somebody rip it, synch the audio and re-post? Please! I would do it, but I'm stupid. I only know how to complain. But seriously, excellent post. Love it. Thanks.

So music hasn't stopped progressing past the nineties... Love it!!! By the way, I am hearing things, or is the melody from their other tune Baader Puff creeping in from 2:47 - 3:00??
The thing thats kindof misleading about this music is that to play this stuff you are nowhere close to drugs. if SETI wants to get any action back - they really should be beaming THIS out there
This is the best thing I've heard as a YT comment and I totally agree!

Om jag gifter mig någon gång så måste det här vara intromusiken.
THIS BAND IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING
Saw them live in 2005. There were lots of musical instruments for sale in the classifieds and craigslists ads the week after the gig.
This was fun! "Vinnie, where's five?" "Five".
The whole song is great, but the part at 5:51 is pure genius! I wish I'll get to see them live one day!
love the bass players sounds...... fantastic.
Crazy how tight they played this.. LIVE!
This shit was fire back when I first heard it and it STILL FUCKING FIRE
100%
I love this tune, thanks for uploading this..
This should be what Trance sounds like, it sure put me in one! Super rythmically intricate. Frank Zappa is laughing somewhere;)
Great song! Probably the best I've heard from them so far.

One of the best jazz fusion groups on earth. All are great musicians. Everything they do-Zappa would be huge fan.
Zappa was a huge fan.
They even played with Zappa.
The groove in 10/8 that starts at around 00:31 is just killer! Actually, the whole thing is, but that section is especially brilliant.
Hearing the section at 5:50 always puts a smile on my face!
this polyrhythmic music is so geniall =)))
hahaha, love it when they all scream. Great song! Thanks Simon.
I'm playing this for my 2 month old son; I think I see a little bulge where his brain is growing
now let's play it all backwards!
