The half-life of Tritium is 12 years, that means after 12 years it loses half of its original brightness. Give it another 12 years, you are left with a quarter. By then the T100 tube of the watch should still be as bright as a new T25. I think that is long enough for most people😀
Thanks for the great review. Didn’t realize female watch collectors were clamoring for tritium watches🤔. It’s a pretty good option if you’re looking for an affordable tritium watch though. My Seestern 62mas is 37mm, and I have a 7inch wrist so I figured this would fit ok. Not quite for me but always good to have options. Thanks!
It is a good watch. I bought it and its "small size" fits both men's and women's wrists very well. The solar charge movement is very tight. It is a different watch and, at least for me, I am very happy with it.
@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR I chose the pink shade. It looks nice and goes with the current trends in dial colors. It is a rather dark shade of pink and makes for a very different watch.
Good find. It has many features I’m interested in such as the small size, tritium tubes, and solar Quartz. It is a busy dial, especially the double logo. If the price was right on a sale I would probably buy one
@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR Would probably get the blue. Also agree about the bezel, strange that has non-grippy parts. But the push-pull crown doesn’t bother me, many 100m water resistant watches don’t have a screw down. Recently got myself a 36mm NH34 sub homage on jub bracelet by Corgeut, was the only small NH34 watch on Ali and really liking it so far. The price was very good during the sale.
@@mharto456 Yeah that smooth part of the bezel is an odd design choice. That sounds like an interesting one. As you said, you don't see many homages of that in that size, with that movement.
Tritium is not a "catch" for me, but solar is. On the other hand, Yelang has weird design, most of times, this is no exception, but size is right. Has some pros and cons, so the review clears the whole situation. Thanks for that James, be well mate. PS Solar Drive.>Diver, damn easy typo, but leads to Eco Drive too... PS2 Price is totally Yelang though!
Is there a particular reason that tritium isn't a "catch" for you? Yeah it's definitely not perfect, but I think the positives or weight the negatives though.
@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR Lume in general is not a thing that i'll miss, if time is legible... somehow (i know, i'm a weirdo!😋), tritium makes it worse, as the tubes take space on dial, look weird (daytime/nighttime), bring a "toolish" esthetic i'm not fond of.
@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR Some models of Ball look nice, but are quite big is size and pretty high in price. They have a long "know how" in tritum tubes, thus manage to master it.
Interesting review 👍. I was looking for a dive watch for my wife recently and there aren't many to choose from. I think the lug to lug with the bracelet on would be far to large for most women, and the dial looks messy, otherwise a good effort. My wife ended up with a Citizen eco-drive 36mm diver with black dial, light blue accents and matching rubber strap. It's a great looking watch, not tritium, but at least lume still works a bit after 15 years
I have two Yelang Tritium watches. I bought a 42mm pilot's watch but it was a bit too small on my flat 60mm-wide wrist. The newer 44mm version fits much better. They both have a Chengdu J-10 Vigourous Dragon on the caseback,
@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR I like the size. I'm becoming more attracted to smaller case sizes. I also like solar watches. If I'm going to wear a quartz I want it to be solar, a perpetual date or a high accuracy movement. Something other than just a basic quartz, you know? I'm also pretty intrigued by the tritium tubes. I've never actually seen them irl before. I could do without the cyclops magnifier. I wonder if there is a way to remove them?

Nice concept...surprised there are not more tritium/solar watches on the market. How lame is that? My only gripe of course is the date/cyclops feature. Would still consider though.
These Chinese brands sometimes have a different understanding as to what makes a man's or a woman's watch. I've never seen a watch advertised as a unisex watch on AliExpress.
