We Indian love SUV styling, company's understood this completely, we have narrow roads, less parking space,so what they have done, they gave us, a big hatchback platform, with high ground clearance, monoquco body suv like design, with great price, everyone can't afford ford Everest, fortuner, alturas g4, or even if one has that much money what about traffic & parking spaces to park huge SUV, I like the way Indian SUV market changed completely thanks ford eco sports who introduced this segment.

My question is " is engine breaking possible in any of these techs" imt amt dct ? When acutally the clutch engage and disengage when break applied form high to low speed. I guess engine breaking helps a lot in hill descent giving more control and less stress on breaks. Soooo .. engine breaking ?????

Booked HTX+ IMT Kia Sonet....i m 6'1 and i found venue small in headroom than sonet... Am worried about turbocharged engine is it reliable than natural aspirated engine ? How about turbocharger maintenence cost? Clear doubts any body...
I am really interested in buying the iMT car but I am confused if someday the sensor gets stuck and delivers no response then how come I overcome to that situation if I am driving this car to village area or in jungle where there is no service station available.
These things are tested for lakhs of kilometres for reliability. They don't break down so easily. And if your worry is about this one thing, then there are thousands of components in a car, any ome of which can break down similarly. These things are tested for lakhs of kilometres, amd being a Hyundai, we are sure it's tested for reliability
What happens if in a hypothetical situation, you shift from 4 to 1 at a high speed - maybe by accident, or if you can't judge the revs. Will the engine over rev? Or the clutch not not engage? Will it save your engine from damage?

It'll not allow that shift IMO. It's safer than a fully manual transmission
I did, gear shifted and engine sounds grr... engine speed and tyre speed mismatches here.. may cause damage to your engine.

@@wr2416 in IMT brake acts as brake + clutch so if we change gear while pressing brake, it may cause wear and tear of clutch.
