Mandalorian is the most middle of the road, empty nothingburger of a show and that consistently got in the high 90s among audiences, yet this show with an actual story is getting clowned on. The fact I’m developing a connection to even the droid speaks VOLUMES about this show. The fact Hayden’s voice packed that much punch right there really shows how good he was in the prequel trilogy. He aged Anakin like fine wine. So cool! 🫡to Dave. He’s running with the torch.

Shin is TERRIFIED of Ahsoka! And she's VERY disturbed at having fallen for Sabine's trap. I can't help feeling Sabine might need to focus on that and break her psychologically in order to beat her.

I'm leaning toward Baylan as a former Temple Guard. His armor looks like it could have been Temple Guard kit at one time, and a yellow saber tainted with red would be... orange. He's knowledgeable in the lore and history of the Jedi Order, he's honor-bound, and he's intensely skilled in combat. It stands to reason that he would HATE Anakin for destroying everything he stood for.
Yes! “Everyone in the order knew Anakin Skywalker” or he really was a Plo Koon padawan, suppose he’d have been late teens, early 20s then. Wish we’d get more detail on his backstory.

OMG OMG OMG THIS EPISODE WAS EVERYTHING I EVER WANTED!!!!!! The Lightsaber Fights were Perfect, The Acting was Perfect, Everything was just Perfect! It was already My Favorite Episode of The Show but then THAT ENDING. OMG THAT'S HOW YOU DO AN ENDING! It made Me Cry because I've been waiting to see Anakin and Ahsoka in a Scene Together in Live Action for so long and to see it finally happen is just Amazing!!! Perfect acting? It was the same stoic faces we always get....I think there was one smile Ahsoka did. Everyone was stoic with no emotion and had their hands behind their backs or crossed...if you call that good acting, you have no ability to understand quality, let alone spot it.
Definetly something to do with Vader, I think. Not only did Anakin have his I lightsaber (if I saw it correctly), but you can also hear the imperial march at the end. Honestly, I'm very, very excited for next Tuesday lol.
Loved the shock on Shin's face when Marrok turned into smoke. So glad she survived this episode. Sabine was in Mando mode in that duel. Loved that we got lots of Baylon, and that Sabine gave in to her attachment to Ezra and gave Baylon the orb. Also Baylon revealed that Sabine blames Ahsoka for not helping during the purge of Mandalore and that her family died in the purge. This explains the beef between them but it also means Ahsoka was around during the galactic civil war because that's when the purge happened. I hope we find out how Ahsoka ended up in the WBW again. I have to say I'm not a fan of her dying and coming back. This was still one of the best episodes of live action Star Wars, Filoni always finishes stronger than he starts.
Always fun to watch Asoka episodes with Star Wars theory watch party. It’s the place to be for everybody that love Star Wars. George Palawan did well tonight.
I absolutely loved this episode! The ghost! Marrok turned out to be night sister hoodoo, like savage oppress. Sabine messed it all up! Ahsoka went to the world between worlds! Anakin!!! Then Vader theme! Dam. The duels!!!! Just fantastic. 🔥
All part of the fun man, no reason to be down about it. I love that it was no one important, but I love that people thought the character was important.

@@MonsieurTrinity the only reason anyone looked into it was because of sam witwer. Besides that there really wasnt any other hints this character is anybody important. There was no special focus on this character in the show at all, in the writing of the episodes, ahsoka, sabine or hera wasnt putting any focus on this guy saying there was a former inquisitor that is working with them that stopped us. There wasnt any hints like that in the writing at all. It almost seemed like they didnt even care about him. They put emphasis on baylan and shin’s lightsabers. Story telling-wise thats putting emphasis and background to these characters. Nothing in any way did they do that for marrok.
I believe Sabine is not stupid enough to just “hand” the map over. She did it intentionally. If she can get there, high jack the coordinates of the giant ship, get Ezra, and then make it back to her galaxy. She could send the New Republic fleet to the galaxy and keep Thrawn away. Sabina’s letting it play out and’ll ultimately save the day. Unfortunate part is- she’s also doing it because she’s giving into the her own wants… not really the way of the Jedi.

I just watched the show and im in tears, seeing Haden was beautiful, as someone who gre up on the prequels Hayden is my childhood and seeing him was incredibly overwhelming
The dual between Baylan and Ahsoka was amazing. I loved after she burnt her hand she couldn’t guard effectively. That was a great detail, but i also love the faints and trick moves she was trying to use to end the dual - but couldn’t.
Mark my words. Baylen will mention something to sabine about her training. Saying something to the line of "use your feeling or embrace your emotions" then she will be able to connect to the force. Shes shown strength in rebels using her emotions and i think she will only attune to the force using the dark side and become a grey force user!
well the director of this episode was not Filoni, it was some other guy. But yeah i 100% agree, remove KK, remove Rian Jonson and JJ abrams, and go full Dave Filoni trilogy.

I think Sabine will definitely end up using the force to win the fight with Shin. Seems to be setting up pretty clearly, but I don’t think it will be very huge, it will be barely enough and really hard and probably not super repeatable. Which imo I’m fine with. If she does it then all of the sudden unlocks the full force like she had a mental block, imma not love that. But we will see how it goes
she will probably have an Obi Wan - maul moment, where she will be hanging on a brink of death, and in the final moment as she closes her eyes, she reaches for her lightsaber, or blaster and pulls it to herself with the force.
She literally won the fight without the force, why the hekk would she need the force? Why would everyone be a force sensitive? Why would you need the force to defeat a force user? Jango was literally chosen to be cloned because he could beat jedi without the force.. The duel between baylan and ahsoka was choreographed so well and reminded me of mortal kombat. Had me thinking ab a Star Wars fighting game with jedi and Sith.

What an awesome episode for Dave Filoni and Ray Stevenson, let alone us fans! As someone who loves it when characters tell the story, this was great to see. But one moment I really loved that spoke about the characters was when Ahsoka lowered her sword stance as if to invite Baylon to make the first move. The look he gives her before he raises his lightsaber, completely relaxed, spoke volumes: "No, my dear. You're not dealing with a stupid padawan who'd take that bait. You want to fight, you come at me first." SO good! And just seeing the joy in Ahsoka's face when she sees Anakin, then the slow realization that something is off here. Just a wonderful episode
This episode was jaw dropping. We had so much given to us. Epic fight scenes that felt closer to the original trilogy fighting sequences than anything we've had in a long while, Marrok turned into freaking mist or something of witch magic, Baylan and Ahsoka finally fighting each other was absolutely insane, old light saber noises that brought upon the nostalgia, and ANAKIN FREAKING SKYWALKER is BACK!!!! Hayden looks so good in that scene and, while I honestly didn't cry, I did tear up because I could feel the emotions from Ahsoka in that moment. She hasn't seen her master like that, his old self I mean, in so very long. I can't even with this episode and literally only complaint is that we didn't get anything after the two see each other in the world between worlds. I don't want to wait a week for their interactions. Though the vader theme music makes me worry a little about what is to come. Guess we're being forced to wait y'all. What an incredible episode.

I really enjoyed this episode. I especially loved the parallels between Anakin's decision in the prequels and Sabine's choice to give the map to Balen. Just like Palpatine, Balen knew where to poke and prod to convince Sabine.
@@k2sworld I looked again, I think it might be a hybrid between Anakin's and Vader's, that's not just a reflection. It looks different. But I guess we'll have to wait to see!
One issue with this episode: Ahsoka was like 30 feet away from Shin and Sabine's fight and together she and Sabine could have finished off Shin together quickly rather than leaving Sabine to face Shin alone with someone who could legitimately beat/kill her. Otherwise, a GREAT episode. It had the gravitas and mysticism of the Original Trilogy (Empire Strikes Back, etc.).
The force works in mysterious ways, perhaps they sensed something about her, and the potential for her to provide benefit to them. My guess is that Shin will turn on Baylon.

Dave Filoni is the greatest apprentice of George Lucas and what he does in Star Wars is truly great & fantastic. This episode of Ahsoka was the true Star Wars coming back after 11 years and I must say I’m so satisfied & happy it is.

This series is finally starting to pick up half way through. If they stick the landing to the ending of this show, and they eventually do more seasons, might be the best show they’ve done. Hands down.

The lightsaber battles were the best since the prequels, the story writing was even better than times during the prequels, and holy fuck I cried tears of joy at the end
Nah the lightsaber battles were meh. You cant keep having fights with swords that cut through anything, and no one gets maimed. Thats what George Lucas understood, but these new people don't. These fights have no impact. Sabine gets stabbed and survives just fine. Ahsoka blocks a slash that conveniently knocks her off a cliff. Meh. There are no consequences. The fights just suck and have no emotional impact. Its like whatever.
I have a feeling this is not force ghost Anakin. Simply a younger version of him while his own travels thru the world of worlds since he has no scar over his right eye.

Baylan is one of the coolest and most interesting villains in Star Wars. That duel was absolutely fire

I have to say I'm not a fan of her dying and coming back. This was still one of the best episodes of live action Star Wars, Filoni always finishes stronger than he starts.

There was a lot of reason to look into it.

@@MonsieurTrinity the only reason anyone looked into it was because of sam witwer. Besides that there really wasnt any other hints this character is anybody important. There was no special focus on this character in the show at all, in the writing of the episodes, ahsoka, sabine or hera wasnt putting any focus on this guy saying there was a former inquisitor that is working with them that stopped us. There wasnt any hints like that in the writing at all. It almost seemed like they didnt even care about him. They put emphasis on baylan and shin’s lightsabers. Story telling-wise thats putting emphasis and background to these characters. Nothing in any way did they do that for marrok.

I believe Sabine is not stupid enough to just “hand” the map over.
She did it intentionally. If she can get there, high jack the coordinates of the giant ship, get Ezra, and then make it back to her galaxy.
She could send the New Republic fleet to the galaxy and keep Thrawn away.
Sabina’s letting it play out and’ll ultimately save the day. Unfortunate part is- she’s also doing it because she’s giving into the her own wants… not really the way of the Jedi.
Baylan is such a cool antagonist! He’s not twirling mustache evil or OP just very strong, calculated and calm. Dope character.

The dual between Baylan and Ahsoka was amazing. I loved after she burnt her hand she couldn’t guard effectively.
That was a great detail, but i also love the faints and trick moves she was trying to use to end the dual - but couldn’t.

Mark my words. Baylen will mention something to sabine about her training. Saying something to the line of "use your feeling or embrace your emotions" then she will be able to connect to the force. Shes shown strength in rebels using her emotions and i think she will only attune to the force using the dark side and become a grey force user!

I think Sabine will definitely end up using the force to win the fight with Shin. Seems to be setting up pretty clearly, but I don’t think it will be very huge, it will be barely enough and really hard and probably not super repeatable. Which imo I’m fine with.
If she does it then all of the sudden unlocks the full force like she had a mental block, imma not love that. But we will see how it goes

She literally won the fight without the force, why the hekk would she need the force? Why would everyone be a force sensitive? Why would you need the force to defeat a force user? Jango was literally chosen to be cloned because he could beat jedi without the force.. No, we don't need another force sensitive, Sabine is fine as she is

What an awesome episode for Dave Filoni and Ray Stevenson, let alone us fans! As someone who loves it when characters tell the story, this was great to see. But one moment I really loved that spoke about the characters was when Ahsoka lowered her sword stance as if to invite Baylon to make the first move. The look he gives her before he raises his lightsaber, completely relaxed, spoke volumes: "No, my dear. You're not dealing with a stupid padawan who'd take that bait. You want to fight, you come at me first." SO good! And just seeing the joy in Ahsoka's face when she sees Anakin, then the slow realization that something is off here. Just a wonderful episode
When Ahsoka burned her hand on the map I was like:
"Aw man, if only jedi had a way to move things without touching them" 🤣
Anakin in all his glory ♥️ brings a tear to my eye as well
This episode was jaw dropping. We had so much given to us. Epic fight scenes that felt closer to the original trilogy fighting sequences than anything we've had in a long while, Marrok turned into freaking mist or something of witch magic, Baylan and Ahsoka finally fighting each other was absolutely insane, old light saber noises that brought upon the nostalgia, and ANAKIN FREAKING SKYWALKER is BACK!!!! Hayden looks so good in that scene and, while I honestly didn't cry, I did tear up because I could feel the emotions from Ahsoka in that moment. She hasn't seen her master like that, his old self I mean, in so very long. I can't even with this episode and literally only complaint is that we didn't get anything after the two see each other in the world between worlds. I don't want to wait a week for their interactions. Though the vader theme music makes me worry a little about what is to come. Guess we're being forced to wait y'all. What an incredible episode.

The World Between Worlds is in between the living Force and the cosmic Force, so Jedi are able to be seen tangibly.

I really enjoyed this episode. I especially loved the parallels between Anakin's decision in the prequels and Sabine's choice to give the map to Balen. Just like Palpatine, Balen knew where to poke and prod to convince Sabine.

One issue with this episode: Ahsoka was like 30 feet away from Shin and Sabine's fight and together she and Sabine could have finished off Shin together quickly rather than leaving Sabine to face Shin alone with someone who could legitimately beat/kill her. Otherwise, a GREAT episode. It had the gravitas and mysticism of the Original Trilogy (Empire Strikes Back, etc.).
The force works in mysterious ways, perhaps they sensed something about her, and the potential for her to provide benefit to them. My guess is that Shin will turn on Baylon.
Sabine told her to leave. She had to show that she trusted Sabine, so staying with her wouldn't do their chemistry any justice.
@@theogking8309 good point, but they had also agreed to stick together, and made a big point about it and promised to before the duals, and Ahsoka was right there and could’ve easily finished off Shin.

Dave Filoni is the greatest apprentice of George Lucas and what he does in Star Wars is truly great & fantastic. This episode of Ahsoka was the true Star Wars coming back after 11 years and I must say I’m so satisfied & happy it is.
He is the true padawan. The others are but pretenders and mercenaries.

This series is finally starting to pick up half way through. If they stick the landing to the ending of this show, and they eventually do more seasons, might be the best show they’ve done. Hands down.
So I wasn't the only one that teared up a bit while watching the final scene...it's crazy how much nostalgia Hayden can bring forward in us prequel kids, isn't it?

The lightsaber battles were the best since the prequels, the story writing was even better than times during the prequels, and holy fuck I cried tears of joy at the end
Nah the lightsaber battles were meh. You cant keep having fights with swords that cut through anything, and no one gets maimed. Thats what George Lucas understood, but these new people don't. These fights have no impact. Sabine gets stabbed and survives just fine. Ahsoka blocks a slash that conveniently knocks her off a cliff. Meh. There are no consequences. The fights just suck and have no emotional impact. Its like whatever.

Nobody had justifiably despised most of Disney Star Wars more than me. This show (like most of Filoni produced stuff) has been amazing
