  • Charlie was already confident with the driver however couldn't adapt to his irons. By timing the vertical force a little later combined with some sequencing work and golf exercises, we got that more depending blow on the golf shot with the irons and witnessed a stripe show at the end! Huge thanks to Charlie for letting us share his ZEN Golf Mechanics experience with you guys.

Marcus... this video inspired me to delve deeper into your training and instruction. All I can say is "THANK YOU!" After an hour or so at the range starting to practice some of your teachings, I am hitting the golf ball better than I ever have. I have recently been struggling as a mid to high handicap golfer, and you have help change my disposition dramatically! If there was ever a holy grail for golf... you certainly have come close to discovering it. Please create a Patreon account for may of us to help show our support. Many thanks and please continue to make great content!

And the difference in the weight shift and posting from driver to iron swing

Will do, as a general rule of thumb the "up" part of the downswing wants to come in sooner with the driver

Marcus, love the concept of the flow. Where I struggle is starting static at the ball. When swinging back and forth the flow/natural rhythm is there. Just starting from the ball, I seem to get robotic. Any suggestions that have helped others?

To get the handle to stay forward of ball like the beginning of video I have to grip it in both hands with the most pressure in my thumb and pointer finger. Is that completely wrong?
