So I know its not a Christmas movie, but next week I plan on doing watching Frozen for the first time :D
Since its Christmas next week, I think Frozen will be a nice big time movie to react too.

No, the family did not know about Jack-Jack's powers from the first movie. He was up too high with Syndrome. Remember Helen said to Bob, "Something's going on! What's going on?" They knew Syndrome seemed to be having some trouble but they did not see what it was. So it does make sense that nobody knew Jack-Jack might have powers.

Evelyn Deavor. They literally named the villain of this movie EVIL ENDEAVOR.

Pixar made the animation in the opening shots with the Underminer look as much like they did 14 years ago as possible. And then as the scene progresses shift the quality and look to present day technology and techniques. Just to take you back visually and then ease into the new.
Nothing but meticulous attention to detail and passion poured into every shot.
I really want a prequel of mr incredible and elastigirls early days up to when they first met. I think that would be great
Elastigirl is a kind of role model for me(even though she’s 38 and I’m 20)
I read somewhere that Jack Jack was a jack of all trade because it was to show the never ending potential of a baby
And the painting in elastic girl room was showing her separation with her family
I love the fact that both Bob Odenkirk (Saul Goodman) and Jonathan Banks (Mike Ehrmantraut) are in this movie

Waiting for this sequel was an exquisite torture, but seeing the amazing things this team did with the characters I loved in the first movie made it all worth it. Brad Bird is such a great director, every animated movie I've seen from him has made me cry
The wait was EXCRUCIATING lol. But I agree, this one was just as good as the first one. There have been a lot of many-years-later sequels lately (Disenchanted and Hocus Pocus 2 are the ones that immmediately come to mind), but in my opinion they have all been subpar compared to the originals. The Incredibles really made it worth the wait!
Another Disney sequel that took far too long to come out was Tron Legacy, but that film really did well having the more modern graphics for the grid and lightcycles
41:43 jack jack did his powers when with syndrome. He was back to normal when his mom went up to save him
HOnestly I could have and still would watch a full-length animated feature that's just Jack-Jack vs. Racoon.
its funny but when my family went to see the incredibles in theaters, I didn't go cause I thought it sounded boring (and I wasn't much into superheros) but then when we got the DVD, my mom wouldn't let me watch Jack Jack Attack until I'd seen the movie at least once and I had to listen to her laugh while I was banished the kitchen.

Both movies also are about family, as well as superheroing. (Is that even a real word?) And, yes, I like that Helen got a chance to shine in this one!
The fact she is voiced by Brad Bird himself makes it even better!
I like this one because it’s technically better (but that was a given, it was made 14 years later), I liked the focus on Helen and the action scenes are really tense. However I think the first one’s story was way tighter.

8:45 Hoo boy, they could *not* get away with this bit today. I know this because _The Mitchells vs. the Machines_ was also meant to have a "didn't wash my hands" joke, but it had to be cut due to COVID.
I think the "eccentric billionaire" line could refer to Howard Stark, Tony's dad. He worked closely with Captain America and later on with Peggy Carter when she was taking on missions in Agent Carter. Howard was also a scientist/inventor, that's where Tony gets his genius from.

also, the Auntie Edna short that i mention in the previous reaction shows what happened while Edna was babysitting Jack Jack

Iron Man is the first movie in the MCU/Avengers franchise. Captain America came after, but he's called, "The First Avenger" because he was created during WWII.

I feel like it's similar to Deadpool and Deadpool 2.
The first one was kind of magical and unexpected and perfect.
And the sequal builds on that but there's something really special about the introduction to these characters in the original movie.
Both are incredible though... ha! A pun!

I think the one thing that i didn’t like about the movie is the reveal at the end. The “twist” I wanted it to be Tony. I think that would make for a good twist
Tony got his mind wiped at the start of the movie so he doesnt know much about super heroes, also everything that happened with the Screenslaver happened outside of the Parr's city which is a bit out of reach for Tony
There’s a Lego incredibles game which contains both movies but that’s pretty much it for incredible games and there is a incredibles game on PS3
Doesn't the PS3 game pick up right where the first film left off, just like the sequel?

There's a really fun one for Xbox which was the sequel for the first incredibles story. The Incredibles: Rise of the Underminer.
It's pretty much a given that when Jack Jack gets older, he'll lose a couple of his powers because he's like peaking.

I guess you missed Violet throwing the force fields and destroying that rock that was gonna kill those people.... so she would do something... sometimes your commentary is like you're not even watching the movie.
jack jack doesn't have a tangible power to grasp on, no personality unpredictable powers.
I think it's not so much that Elastigirl is the best, in that scene, but moreso that she causes less collateral damage. Heh.

Yeah, I also didn't like this as much as the first one but this was a solid adventure. It's still a great movie.
